I could perhaps talk at length about some aspects of the development of the coffee shop business in my city, but I will refer to just one that has caught my attention.
Just yesterday, at the invitation of a friend, I visited a place that I would not have gone to on my own, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Normally, I don't like coffee shops that are inside supermarkets or other businesses, but this one knew how to resolve its spaces in a very intelligent way. They were designed as places of transit, keeping the environments separate. Its architecture is simple but very pretty and it has a second level that offers a very attractive view of the city.
There I saw the aspect that I would like to tell you about: in my city there are a large number of young people working in the coffee business, and they are mainly women.
Very young women who, at the same time as developing in the business, have a great drive to improve and study to become professionals. They do this, in addition, sharing other roles as productive members of their families or raising their children alone. Yesterday we celebrated International Women's Day and it was very nice for me, after coming from an event I organized to commemorate that day, to have a nice conversation with the baristas of this coffee shop. Young, friendly, intelligent women, and very motivated to get ahead. In honor of them and to celebrate yesterday a little, I leave this photo:

How nice to know that information you share with us about young women. More and more women are becoming empowered in every sector of society. and the most pleasant thing that is done in the coffee sector.👏

A coffee mug to commemorate the struggle and recognition of women.☕untitled.gif

Now that you mention it, in the only coffee shop in my town almost all workers are women, and as far as I can tell it is pretty much the same in all other coffee shops I have visited in the nearest cities. Mmmmm, maybe that needs some in depth exploration, maybe even a post.

In my city there are two fairly recent phenomena that have caught my attention. One is the flourishing of a type of coffee shop that is housed inside another business, usually a supermarket. The second is the number of young women I have seen working as baristas or tending coffee. Sometimes the staff is exclusively female.
It has caught my attention that I want to write some posts about these two phenomena.

Strategic locations without a doubt. While we leave the stress of shopping, it is not bad to sit and have a coffee at the same time while chatting. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
