Last week, I announced the creation of 2 new jobs – A Primary and Backup Threads Curator! Multiple people applied for this position, some with quite a bit of enthusiasm, and frankly this was a difficult choice! I took into account multiple factors, including longevity on Hive, enthusiasm, and participation in our community. So, here are our new hires:

A warm welcome to @sabrinah as our Primary Threads Curator, and to @thelogicaldude as our Backup Threads Curator!

Sabrina’s been exceptionally active on Threads and has pushed forward the #freecompliments tag significantly. Her enthusiasm towards the job makes me confident that she’ll catch threads that even I’d overlook in my ongoing haze of chronic sleep deprivation.

Thelogicaldude has been a frequent presence on Hive for over 6 years, which makes him ideal as a backup who’ll stick around for a long time to come! Longevity was the key factor in this decision. His enthusiasm towards the job was also infectious.

Conclusion

I encourage our other applicants to keep an eye out for future jobs. I always seem to come up with new positions that help build the community, so more will be on the horizon!
