Speed is useless when the direction is lacking.

I think about those lines and I recall when I had first tried to learn the guitar. It was the step that involved running my scale. I would practice hard at home and by the next rehearsals when I play what I had practiced, my coach would say 'I love how nicely you move your fingers on the board but you seem to play it so fast that your picks ain't coming out clearly."

I was moving my fingers fast but there was no clarity in what I played. My speed was useless but then I was directed to take it slow, pick carefully, to perfect the art of playing clear notes and the speed would eventually follow.

That's how it works.

This is beautiful, so beautiful and I am happy about how you shared your experience on this. It's about perfecting our move first and then the speed can come afterwards. I enjoyed this a lot. Thank you.
