[ESP/ENG]. Sumando mis primeros usuarios a Hive.

Una introducción necesaria.

Esto no estaba propuesto para salir y me disculpo, pero como dice el profesor cubano Manuel Calviño Vale la pena divulgarlo.

En el mes de julio de 2022 comenzó mi andar por esta aventura de enseñanzas y aprendizajes que se llama Hive. Muchas cosas he conocido y creo que alguna vez he podido enseñar algo. Eso me place porque desde mi formación como profesor he aprendido que por mucho que conozcas tu dicha mayor comienza cuando enseñas.

Hoy sentí uno de esos placeres que te demuestran que esta profesión es la más importante del mundo, y no es que quiera polemizar, pero, para saber tienes primero que haber aprendido. En este proceso debo agradecer a los jóvenes que dirijo quienes me enseñaron los caminos a Hive y que uno de ellos, en este día nuevamente se hizo presente.

En esta publicación expondré los elementos que me permitieron poder "enamorar" hoy a algunas de mis trabajadoras para que intentaran entrar a esta plataforma y tratar de ser protagonistas de una aventuran en la que otros me enrolaron en julio del 2022.

La Feria Internacional del Libro de La Habana como pretexto

Este sería el penúltimo día de nuestra participación en la feria. Todo estaba previsto, para realizar las actividades que teníamos previstas. Todo el día marchaba según lo previsto hasta que encontramos a un joven de nuestra dirección que andaba con un pulóver que tenía el logo de Hive Cuba. No sé por qué, pero se formó una tertulia en torno al logo y comenzaron a escucharse varias preguntas:

¿Qué es eso?
¿Qué quiere decir Hive?
¿Para qué sirve?

Ante estas preguntas el joven y yo nos miramos y, a pesar de ser un líder en esto me permitió demostrar mis pocos conocimientos sobre esto que se llama Hive.

Lo primero que les dije era que Eddy nos daría las explicaciones generales y después les daría a conocer mis impresiones, en torno a lo que he podido aprender en estos siete meses.

Lo sucedido a continuación es inexplicable, pues, cuando Eddy comenzo a explicar mis compañeras se quedaron sin palabas y ávidas porque no dejara de hablar.

Les habló de incentivos, importancia, necesidad de entrar y por qué. Les comunicó e ilustró de muchos ejemplos que él conoce y me dio la palabra, para que expusiera mis argumentos.

Confieso que lo vivido hoy se asemeja a mis mejores momentos como profesor. Expliqué mis experiencias en la comunidad, mis incertidumbres iniciales, mis miedos, mis ganas primarias de salir de la plataforma cuando mis intereses no iban a la par de mis expectativas. En la medida que daba mis argumentos me invadieron de preguntas.

¿Cuánto hay que invertir?
¿Dónde recoger lo que me gano?
¿Si no conozco de Informática puedo escribir?
¿Cuándo puedo comenzar?

Reconozco que no estaba preparado para este encuentro, pero me alegra que haya sido así: espontáneo, coloquial, sin previo aviso. No di una actividad metodológica sobre la plataforma. Me limité a contar mis experiencias: Cómo entré, mis decepciones, mis alegrías, lo que me ha aportado y lo que he podido dar.

Cuando estoy por culminar esta publicación ya hay tres potenciales integrantes de entrar a Hive y reconozco que mi alegría es inmensa ,porque son mis primeras captaciones serias para esta comunidad.

Una Confesión final.

De 1987 al 2017 ejercí como profesor. Esa es y seguirá siendo la vocación de mi vida porque mucho de lo soy se lo debo a ella y lo vivido hoy es una de esas experiencias que te hacen decir vale la pena haber escogido esta profesión.

Que tres de mis trabajadoras hayan accedido a querer entrar a Hive por lo que les expliqué es una victoria laboral y social. Nosotros no tenemos otra manera de incluir sustento a nuestras ganancias laborales, hacerlo de esta manera es una bendición, y haber contribuido a ello me enorgullece.

Próximamente volveremos sobre el tema porque una de las cosas que vimos hoy fue involucrar a los trabajadores nuestros en esta plataforma. ¿Lo lograremos? De momento vamos empujando hacia algo que creemos necesario e importante porque la construcción de contenidos es imprescindible para la vida moderna y que esto lo podamos hacer desde nuestra inteligencia colectiva es de lo mejor que nos puede pasar en la vida.

A necessary introduction.

This was not intended to be published and I apologize, but as the Cuban professor Manuel Calviño says, it is worth spreading it.

In the month of July 2022 began my journey through this adventure of teaching and learning that is called Hive. I have learned many things and I believe that at some point I have been able to teach something. That pleases me because since my training as a teacher I have learned that no matter how much you know your greatest joy begins when you teach.

Today I felt one of those pleasures that show you that this profession is the most important in the world, and not that I want to polemicize, but, to know you must first have learned. In this process I must thank the young people I lead who taught me the ways to Hive and that one of them, on this day, was present again.

In this publication I will expose the elements that allowed me to be able to "fall in love" today to some of my workers to try to enter this platform and try to be protagonists of an adventure in which others enrolled me in July 2022.

The Havana International Book Fair as pretext

This would be the penultimate day of our participation in the fair. Everything was planned, to carry out the activities we had planned. The whole day was going according to plan until we met a young man from our management who was wearing a sweater with the Hive Cuba logo on it. I don't know why, but a discussion was formed around the logo and several questions began to be asked:

What is that?
What does Hive mean?
What is it for?

Faced with these questions, the young man and I looked at each other and, despite being a leader in this, he allowed me to demonstrate my little knowledge about this thing called Hive.

The first thing I told them was that Eddy would give us the general explanations and then I would let them know my impressions, about what I have been able to learn in these seven months.

What happened next is inexplicable, because, when Eddy began to explain, my companions were speechless and eager for him not to stop talking.

He told them about incentives, importance, the need to enter and why. He communicated and illustrated many examples that he knows and gave me the floor, so that I could present my arguments.

I confess that what I experienced today resembles my best moments as a teacher. I explained my experiences in the community, my initial uncertainties, my fears, my primal desire to leave the platform when my interests did not match my expectations. As I gave my arguments, I was flooded with questions.

How much to invest?
Where to collect what I earn?
If I don't know IT, can I write?
When can I start?

I admit that I was not prepared for this meeting, but I am glad it was like this: spontaneous, colloquial, unannounced. I did not give a methodological activity on the platform. I limited myself to telling my experiences: how I entered, my disappointments, my joys, what it has brought me and what I have been able to give.

When I am finishing this publication, there are already three potential members of Hive and I recognize that my joy is immense, because they are my first serious recruitments for this community.

A final confession.

From 1987 to 2017 I worked as a teacher. That is and will continue to be the vocation of my life because I owe much of what I am to it and what I have lived today is one of those experiences that make you say it is worth having chosen this profession.

The fact that three of my workers have agreed to join Hive because of what I explained to them is a labor and social victory. We have no other way to include sustenance in our work earnings, to do it this way is a blessing, and to have contributed to it makes me proud.

We will come back to that soon because one of the things we saw today was to involve our workers in this platform. Will we succeed? For the moment we are pushing towards something that we believe is necessary and important because the construction of content is essential for modern life and that we can do this from our collective intelligence is one of the best things that can happen in life.
