Soshana Marks, is one of the Yoga instructors of @saraleo and a very dear friend, who after three long years without being able to come, resumed her trips to Cuba always accompanied by the also dear friend Rosa Mac'Alister. on this occasion; with a group of 10 people visiting the island for the first time. With Prof. Shoshana -since we met- I have had the honor of always participating in her classes as a percussionist, and we have created our own style in the fusion of yoga and the tumbadoras. She has been married to a Cuban for quite some time, they have two beautiful children, and they are a practicing family of the Yoruba religion, so the Afro-Cuban rhythms are not alien to her at all, and that makes the class a very interesting, enjoyable and different experience.

We agreed to meet on Saturday at our house and I invited my great friend and excellent percussionist "El Pita", with whom I have a very special communication in music, as we were working together for more than 10 years in the theater and street art company "Giganteria". The first pleasant surprise was that teacher Shoshana asked saraleo to teach the class together with her, which is an important step for the teacher training that my saraleo is immersed in right now. Always touching connected with yoga is incredible, because a lot of energies are moving and you have to control the volume of the drums, do it very delicately so that the teacher can go giving her instructions and the class flows successfully. The energy was so latent that even my cat Omi did her thing on the terrace 😆😃😄.

With the drums we let ourselves be carried away by the intention in the voice of the Master and the intensity of the Asanas. There is nothing prepared, everything is flowing according to the music and spirituality, which float in space until they merge in an embrace, and that wonderful brotherhood is what really guides the encounter. Something really beautiful happened when the music became more and more present and the Asanas were transformed into a liberating and almost wild dance - hahaha. Everything went so well that we agreed on a second meeting -this time to do something different- and we met early on Sunday at Alen and Elizabet's house, two plastic artists who at the same time prepare exotic food and have a house with their works exhibited.

El Pita and I, made music to Cajon and voice mixing bolero with Afro-Cuban rhythms in an interactive party where everyone participated spontaneously and super creative, culminating this intense and comforting weekend experience, loaded with learning, emotions and new friends where we shared flavors, art, spirituality, music and very good vibes!!!
