Balyam - The Yoga Way

From stretching, to breathing, to meditation. There are different form of yoga. The ancient Indian practices has getting acceptance all over the world and is recognized as an easy way to stay healthy. There are different forms to it, and each one of them has its own name and way to perform.

My uncle used to sit alone everyday in morning and evening and starts to breath in , breath out. It is is also form of yoga. Similar practices have been followed by many people around the globe. Yoga has its root in India, and the word itself derived from the sanskrit word 'yuj' which means to unite. By performing regular yoga, it enables the mind and body to unite and feel the happiness.

There are many benefits and there are many simplest way of performing yoga. Talking of simplest way even it can be performed while talking or watching your favourite series on Netflix. Take an example of Balyam. You will notice this practice among many people especially to Indians who worried of their falling hair. balyam is an exercise of rubbing nails. The edges of your fingers nails are rubbed against each other, like creating friction.

As per the yoga expert, rubbing your nails for atleast 10 minutes everyday helps in enhancing hair growth, increase blood circulation and reduces graying of hair. Indians were quite in love with their hair and that is why you will find many people doing it regularly. I have seen in parks in bus stand in metro and even in markets. They start whenever they have idle hands.
Some people find it awkward, as they see it sign of nervousness. But, they tend to overlook the yoga side of it. Or they do not knew about it. Even I learnt about this few days ago, and now try to bring into practice. But it require your conscience to stay active to get the desired result. There is no harm in trying, for atleast saving the expensive shampoo cost.
