Por coplero vergatario;
A Luis Losada "el Cubiro"
De los llanos veterano;
Ángel Custodio Loyola,
Viejo cantor afamado;
Y el grandioso Florentino,
El que cantó con el Diablo;
Al chistoso simón Díaz por su famoso caballo.
Me despido por ahora para volver no sé cuándo
y nombrar más cantadores
que hasta el fin irán luchando por defender
el folklore y costumbres de mi llano.

To the Palmarito carrao,
By vergatarian coplero;
To Luis Losada "el Cubiro"
From the veteran plains;
Guardian Angel Loyola,
Famous old singer;
And the great Florentino,
The one who sang with the Devil;
To the funny Simón Díaz for his famous horse.
I say goodbye for now to return I don't know when
and name more singers
that until the end they will fight to defend
the folklore and customs of my plain.
