Hmm, this is really something šŸ¤”. Although I support the use of alternatives other than plastics majorly, I don't really think bamboo can do just that, as you said earlier it's still prone to micro organisms in this case termites. Nevertheless for spoons, plates and other utensils, ceramics and steels can be used. I think more research should be carried out to ascertain other alternatives in various use cases.

Please, How do one get quality votes on Hive and engagement.

There are successful materials that are food grade and made out of Bamboo or other wood based materials. I agree about the termites thing but only if we stack it for a long time. If we are going to use it day to day, it shouldn't be a problem.
