RE: Overcoming Difficulties in August, Crop Update: Difficult Days and Determination Intact

It's my pleasure bro, I admire the depth to your thinking regarding cannabis cultivation.
Much of this logic is disagreeable with many growers as you say, and I generally do not like to challenge growers with more experience than myself, but it is hard not to challenge when we know the late harvests create couch lock narcotic effects that are generally undesirable for all hours of the day except right before bed.
I don't expect the consensus to change amongst the majorities perception of harvest time, and we will remain the minority with this mindset. This might be influenced slightly with the fact that late harvests bring the "plump" that so many growers desire. Pushing her an extra seven to ten days might bring more weight. Quantity vs quality you can ask any grower and quality is the aim, but they will still be going after the "plump" anyway while claiming it would be a rookie mistake to harvest before the full weight potential arrives. Many growers just don't want to admit that the good stuff comes with sacrificing the extra weight ;D
60% brown pistil coverage would make most growers definitely cringe at the thought of harvesting , but this piques my interest a bit because I've generally kept with the 100% rule.
I have a Sativa dominant plant right now that calls for a 70 day flower time, currently at 49 days. Bud development is still rapid with about 40% brown. I'm wondering if 60 days will be the more appropriate harvest time, and am willing to bet that I'll be looking at 60-70% brown pistil coverage at this time.
I believe we will see a shift occur in the world during our lifetime where sovereignty will be obtainable, and those who've put forth this good work towards plant medicine will be rightfully regarded as assets to humanity. Thank you for the excellent conversation.
Buddy the truth is that this topic is very interesting and as you say we are a minority that bets on early harvesting, it would be interesting to put on the table different crops with different growers at some point and determine the difference between the effects of cutting early or cutting late, but it would have to be on different days, this conversation has given me an idea we should create a kind of forum on WEB3 also to discuss such matters.
If there are many experienced growers who usually cut late as you mention, they do not dare to cut early, for my part if I do not cut today, I will do it tomorrow but I do not think that these plants will pass the weekend. And I have become so used to cut early that when I see more than half of the brown pistils I feel a certain pressure to cut.
By the way I have been thinking about joining a decentralized social network called Farcaster, I don't know if you are already there? but it was for us to create a Cannabis community on that site, it could be interesting and we could raise much of the philosophy we have regarding this sacred plant that we also have to know how to use it because it has a very powerful energy, the truth as you say really this has been a nice and interesting conversation.
