SOICHI MENTIONED!! A lot of people sure do like Tomie (I mean, by face value, she's definitely a luring mermaid in her own right), but yes... Soichi best boy. He's creepy, but let's just take that he's just on his delusional youth days (ya know, the 8th grade syndrome... or more accurately as the chuunibyou) Makes him cute regardless.
Since you've already gave a rating for Junji Ito Collection, why not go deeper on Junji Ito Maniac? (Also, Uzumaki on Adult Swim when...)

I'm just watching Junji Ito Maniac, I hope to review that and other horror genre adaptations soon.
And yeah, I guess delusional Soichi is cute in a creepy way.
More Soichi delusions down there (and more Tomie as well, if you're a fan of her).
Also, for another recommendation: some short anime (just 4 minutes per episode), but is worth the horrors and "what the hecks". This one's named as "Yamishibai" (aka: Theater of Darkness). Give it a try too!
