RE: DIY, changing the 'feed dog' & 'throat plate' of my manual sewing machie // keep working on yourself so as to improve

I really admire your bravery and ability to fix your own machine. I am having trouble with my sewing machine but just haven't found the energy to open it up and see what is going on in there. It just overwhelms me but, I must do it soon, there is a lot of sewing to do!
