Β Β Β Β Β @KidSisters here with their first #travel post. Sakana and Srey-Yuu have been very bored lately, and our landlord offered us a free trip to the local zoo here in Paramaribo, Suriname. Sakana and Srey-Yuu went knowing to take pictures with their own camera for a #blog post. Unfortunately only a few are usable, so I've given them a few photography tips for the future. It's hard to believe this is still considered the Caribbean when the local wildlife are anacondas, piranhas and capybaras. But that is Suriname, where the Caribbean ends and South America begins.

Very nice post of your adventures at the zoo! Those animals sure look crazy to a Canadian who's used to black bears and moose. I hope you had fun and I hope to see more of your adventures in Suriname! Did you learn some Dutch yet?
Thanks @journeyofanomad for stopping by and supporting @KidSisters. I had seen most of these animals during zoo trips as a kid in the USA, but the anaconda mystified both me and the girls. Most snakes seem to have blank primitive eyes, but the anaconda seemed to stare intelligently into our eyes.
