The Views of Lake Brienz
Boat ride at Lake Thun and Lake Brienz is a must do if in Interlaken. This place is stunningly beautiful. After getting down at Interlaken station we headed to the west side where there is a Ferry terminal from where the boat departs every 3 hours. We were almost on time so there was not much of a wait and within 15 minutes our Boat arrived. Many years back when I had visited the same place I had taken a much smaller boat. I remember it was only a 4 seater where me hubby and other couple friend of ours accompanied. I was expecting the same thing this time as well. But this was a big passenger ferry which could accommodate a minimum of 100 people. Probably it must have been from some other side. On this side, I could not see any small boats. Anyways we wanted to do the ride so we got onboard.
It's a 3 hour ride. We did not complete the full 3 hour ride and got down in-between at Iseltwald village, spent some time there and then took a bus again back to Interlaken. The beauty of this place is mesmerizing. I can surely say that if there is any heaven it must be something like this only. The lush green hills around the lake, the turquoise water and the views all around will leave you nothing but extremely joyful. How blessed are the people who live in these parts of the world, to live with such beauty of nature.

Can never get enough of this beautiful destination. I still have lots to explore in Switzerland. Though I have been there many times, quite a few places I have repeated because I am fond of them. But now I have decided that whenever I will go again I will explore new places. I have not yet been to the Western side, which is the Matterhorn, Zermatt and places on that side. In my next visit I intend doing some of the places in the western region. Hopefully my visa arrives soon and I can travel as planned end of June.

This looks beautiful, In delhi ( my city ) there is India gate and some water parks where we can do boating activities but that is not even closer to the one you shared as this is natural in a lake. That might hold a different feeling.
I am originally from Mumbai and I know what it is like over there, this is something very different, there is no comparison :-)

Haha, not always but yes regularly I like to keep taking short breaks and keep travelling. Well, this was some months back. I had a wonderful time
