How Safe Is Sound Therapy?
I mentioned in a previous article of how I love to use sound to help me get to sleep at night. I use it often but not every night and I feel I am far from being an expert on sound, and sound healing but I do enjoy the occasional foray into new sound topics from time to time.
I had already heard of the solfeggio frequencies and the benefits of each sound. There are also some medical studies on the benefits of these frequencies.
174 - Pain Relief
285 - Quantum Cognition
396 - Liberation form guilt and fear
417 - Facilitating change
528 - Transformation and miracles
639 - Connecting and relationships
741 - Awakening intuition
852 - Returning to spiritual order
963 - Divine consciousness
Mind easy gives a great visual for the frequencies that resonate with the chakras and what they coincide with.
Monday night (3.28.24) as I attempted to find something to help me sleep, Hemi-sync popped up. I can not remember if I was doing a search or if it was one of those timed insertions. Yes youtube does insert things into your stream at a specific time if you are viewing a specific topic at a certain time on a regular basis.
Anyway, the next morning when I went to look for some topic the actual Gateway Hemi-sync popped up along with a bunch of stuff about how the CIA declassified the project because a freedom of information act had been filed. Now I do not know if there is a quota of FOIA filings needed before something is released to the public but I watched a handful of videos on it and found it all interesting.
I would have let it go at that but then another video showed up where a guy claimed the creator (Robert Monroe) of the Gateway Hemi-sync program was experimenting with using pre-recorded sounds from one participant and injecting it into another participant. I had to find out more. He even showed some information on a patent he had found.
As most of us know, if you are going to create something and share it with the public you will want to patent your invention so it can not be stolen and claimed by someone else.
I could not see the patent number but I did a search on the Hemi-sync invention and found it. It seems straightforward enough. The only thing was the patent 5,356,368 was filed on Oct 18, 1994. I knew there had to be something more and went in search instead of reading every bit of the patent.
I could find nothing older until I went back to the patent and then I noticed the patent reference section. I think this may have lead me to the original filing but I still have not read every single detail. I still could not get it out of my head that it might be possible to do such a thing.
I did find a FOIA document. The reading was, to me at least, quite eye opening and informative. It is said that each persons vibrational frequency is like a fingerprint, unique to that individual.
The Physics of Entrainment: Resonant entrainment of oscillating systems is a well understood principle within the physical sciences. If a tuning fork designed to produce a frequency of 440hz is struck, causing it to oscillate, and then brought into the vicinity of another 440hz tuning fork the second tuning fork will begin to oscillate. The first tuning fork is said to have entrained the second or caused it to resonate. There are three basic rules of the physics of entrainment. Resonate rule: For one oscillating system to be capable of entraining another the second system must be capable of achieving the same vibratory rate (oscillating frequency). An oscillating 440hz tuning fork will not entrain a 300hz tuning fork because the second tuning fork will not vibrate at 440hz.source
I remembered talk of projects like MKUltra and the like where the government was experimenting on people using some type of control over participants. I wanted to know how sound may play into this. I am not sure of the actual search term (I clicked the back button and "how does voice to skull work?" is what) I used but I discovered this excerpt on the microwave auditory effect.
Electronic warfare
In 2003–04, WaveBand Corp. had a contract from the U.S. Navy for the design of an MAE system they called MEDUSA (Mob Excess Deterrent Using Silent Audio) that was intended to temporarily incapacitate personnel through remote application. Reportedly, Sierra Nevada Corp. took over the contract from WaveBand. Experts, such as Kenneth Foster, a University of Pennsylvania bioengineering professor who published research on the microwave auditory effect in 1974, have discounted the effectiveness of the proposed device. Foster said that because of human biophysics, the device "would kill you well before you were bothered by the noise". According to former professor at the University of Washington Bill Guy, "There's a misunderstanding by the public and even some scientists about this auditory effect," and "there couldn't possibly be a hazard from the sound, because the heat would get you first".
Microwave effects have been proposed as the cause of otherwise unexplained illnesses of U.S. diplomats in Cuba and China occurring since 2017 and 2018. However, this explanation has been debated. Bioengineer Kenneth R. Foster noted of the health effects observed in the diplomats, "it's crazy, but it's sure as heck not microwaves." As of October 2021, a microwave cause remains one of the major hypotheses.source
So I am going to go with my gut and believe in the positive effects of sound because after all we are all vibration in physical form.
I bolded the lines in the quote to call attention to the line of thought.
I hope you enjoyed the read as much as I enjoyed doing the research on this and look forward to engaging with you in the comments.
Actually... I sleep best to the artillery and battle sounds. Kinda like rain. I'm getting natural rain sounds 9 months of the year.
🤣🤣🤣 To each their own dear. I prefer sound frequency less man made. 😁
My best regards, excellent post
Thank. I feel it is my best so far. I can only hope to improve. 😀😉
That’s very informative thanks for discussing about it.

I thought the information that came my way was worth sharing. I know more people then not do not go digging into stuff.
