TWO IN ONE: MY "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" AND RAISE OF PROJECT #HOPE
 | I'd first like to start by saying that just a few days ago I celebrated yet another birthday. I have come to that stage already, when we all pretend that "I'm only turning 25" and "I'm still young, strong and handsome". I bet some of you know what I'm talking about :) |

INTRODUCTION
Unfortunately, I've spent that special day in bed, recovering from my first European flu in several years (some of you already know, that I've been living in a tropical part of Asia for many years and have only recently moved back to Europe). Needless to say I have already recovered and have decided to take an opportunity and ask you all to give me a present :)
What present would I like to receive? Well. Your time and attention mostly (please read this entire post) and I also hope to receive your support with my latest non-profit Steemit project.
Did I get you attention? I can only hope so.
HOW DID "IT" ALL START
 | For quite sometime now, I felt the urge to give my life some extra meaning. I'm not wealthy, but I love what I do, I adore my wife and generally speaking every day I see, I see it as a gift. And yet it's hard not to feel that something has been missing. |

While living in Asia and witnessing the hardships of people from less developed countries, I realized at some point that my dream would be to change their lives for the better. At least lives of just a few of them. To know that I made their daily struggle more bearable.
Personally, I don't think it's a very unique feeling and I realized that even on Steemit we can witness many others who are doing their best to help those in need. And they try to achieve it one way or the other.
PROJECT #HOPE
This is the moment, when I will share some brief information, vision and goals of my latest project, which I would like to call "Project #HOPE". For those who will find this topic interesting and would like to read on how it all evolved, I would recommend checking out this link:

In short:
 | The idea behind this project is quite simple and it follows one great saying:"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". I bet most of you have heard that sentence before and would agree, that educating people and helping them secure some income is the best way of supporting them. |

Last month together with with @juanmolina I started mentioned already "Project #HOPE". Our goal is to "train" 3 carefully selected Steemit users (@lanzjoseg, @fucho80, @jadams2k18) to become marketers/influencers within blockchain community. Many of you know them already. Within the past few weeks they were committing an enormous amount of time and energy building their "follower base", engaging with people and curating quality content.
I strongly believe that the demand for online marketing services will grow sooner than later. And having an established position within the crypto community can only help all of them to secure decent jobs in the future. So I'm helping to promote their content, passing my knowledge and I even managed to find a "sponsor" who has decided to support this project for the first initial 8 weeks with 100STEEM a month to each of those 3 mentioned users.
On top of that my wife has agreed to help them improve their English language, which will only bring their value up on jobs market.
How does it sound so far?
THINK GLOBALLY ACT LOCALLY

I know each one of those guys for quite some time now and I value their enormous knowledge (two of them are/were working as university professors), plus they have all earned my respect, my friendship and my loyalty.
They also share one thing in common: we all are very passionate towards blockchain technology and they are all from Venezuela. It simply means, that with very little resources I can have great impact on quality of their lives.
It has been a month since we started and the results are already blowing my mind. All of them managed to grow their accounts quite rapidly and they are constantly supporting our little community here on Steemit. It's a win-win scenario so far.
At this point I would like to ask all of you: what do you think about this idea?
Would you perhaps have some suggestions or feedback you would like to share? Drop a comment below - I read all of them and upvote valuable ones.
FUTURE OF PROJECT #HOPE
 | My dream would be to ensure that all those few Venezuelans can focus their efforts on that particular goal for next few months and then I would try to use my contacts to get them some jobs as a community leader/marketer or simply as a review writer. |

It's a long way, full of many challenges ahead of us. But I cannot think of stopping what we started and risk losing all our current achievements.

For me it's not hurd and ok. But in my opinion it is very intenceive life in Moscow. But there are many quiet and cozy places which I like!

Hello @ crypto.piotr I hope you find yourself better soon, I think we would all like to stay with the physical conditions of the 25-year-old, but at the same time that those conditions are going to decrease at the age that we are going to increase the experiences of life as well that everything stays in balance.

Do you know there are sites, communities even on Facebook where they pay for writing a blog or review?
I wonder how language lessons find a place over a long distance, but it is a very good start and a great gift of your wife. The more languages you speak the more changes.
If it comes to English. Great writing tools are available. Grammarly is one of them (not working great on my phone). I prefer prowritingaid.com
The next 3 months I will be in and out of the hospital, have to arrange a lot and think out how to give a hand.

I do not know how it will sound in the ears of some European or maybe an American when he hears about the 100 Steem.
It is extremely difficult or almost impossible for the average blogger to earn that amount just by doing 2 - 3 weekly posts.
100 steem equals 35 usd.
But in Venezuela 100 Steem represents the real opportunity to bring food to the table, to buy a pair of shoes, to buy clothes for your children.
Although hyper inflation is something you must live to understand its magnitude, those 35 usd still represent a very valuable income. Especially because the minimum monthly salary established by the National Administration is 6 usd.
It is extremely frustrating for a university professional to have studied and prepared for a career and then not earn enough for daily food.
Project Hope, is an open window. Through it comes light, air ... life.
Not only We are 4 people who are benefited so far. We are 4 Families. In fact, we are more.
The immediate benefits are in improving the quality of our life. But there are benefits that go beyond.
Now we have accounts with over 200SP + delegations. 1000 followers. Invaluable knowledge. Support of smart people. We have new friends.
It is not only @ crypto.piotr who is behind this Project, but it is to him that we should mainly thank.
We hope that this Project is sustained in time ... a little more.

I totally agree with the quote of teaching a man to fish he'll feed himself a lifetime.
But even though I too have been trying to influence others, I found out one crucial thing.
One must be desperate enough to be innovative in order to move forward.
I like to simply say that because this actually drives the intention of one's heart according to their mind.
If they are on "survival mode", eventually how much you Try to train them they eventually will still looking back for more handout tips, especially the quality of their content varies.
And that is where I believe your coaching skills come in, instead of mentoring and feeding them daily doses of tips, you eventually allow them to take on.
You had 3 wonderful apprentices who took ownership on their steem blockchain responsibly and that is very crucial to growth.
Now I hope that the next phase of the blockchain will continue to grow in Venezuela, take hold on the appreciation that the value of STEEM (despite of its volatility) has a fair chance to be their stable coin; and that there will be opportunities that old survival habits like agriculture and commerce will one again take heart in every citizens hearts there to build something that no one can break.

When I saw your pic, I was literally stunned. You know why?
This has a valid reason. When our family was blatantly cheated by a builder and my own uncle, a friend of mine by the name Mr. Prem Mohan came to my rescue by telling his brother repeatedly to put a full stop to our agony. My friend's brother's name is Mr. Raghuraman. Behold your breath because his face looks very much the same like that of yours.
Five years back, this selfless soul helped me out and without his timely rescual, I would have become more of like a penniless beggar. (The painful thing worth mentioning here is that this selfless soul is no more now.)
When I entered into this Steemit platform, I know nothing and had nothing. By Almighty's Grace, you rescued me and supported me like anything, which I will never forget!

I have been overwhelmed with 'things to do' recently, so don't have the time to check into this project, however, I'm always in favour of helping the underdog. Almost since joining Steem, I have been splitting my earnings with others and intend to continue to do so. Unfortunately my earnings have not been very large, so the amount given away is not all that much in the big picture. I have tried various methods to increase my earnings, but that has not been exceedingly successful. I will not give up though. Through persistence, my account has grown considerably and is starting to grow exponentially. As it grows, the more I will be able to contribute to the greater good of the platform. I have added fiat money to my account, but have never taken any out. I just wish that there was more that I could do, but at the moment life has other plans for me, just as you @crypto.piotr have indicated about your own life. I have had personal experience with immigration issues, so I know first-hand about what you are experiencing. I wish you good luck in that endeavor.

Sounds like a great project, I hope that everyone who follows you and your community helps out. I will try to vote on their posts to give them the little bit that I can when they are published. It makes me glad to support people that I can, in regions of the world like Venezuela who are subject to some pretty awful things presently.

This is indeed a great project and I love the personalities on the receiving end of the support because I already know @fucho80 @jadams2k18 @juanmolina for their valuable posts as well as the hard work they put in writing those post. Not sure I have ever come across @lanzjoseg but I will check out his blog after this comment.
