IMMORTAL LIFE DECK : 3 TRIAGES, 3 REPAIRS, 2 RESURRECTS IN A MATCH - GIVEAWAY 18

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia, In this Social Media Challenge, I am going to share to all of you one of a strategy which some players used to make all of the opponent's attack goes to one direction. Yes, the ability named Taunt. This ability is pretty cool in some ruleset, for example explosive weaponry. In that condition, we can put taunt monster and monster with reflection shield next to him to prevent the blast damage goes to other monsters. There are lots of other strategies can be build using taunt monster and this article will give you another one of the strategy, so check this out 😘

Well, the battle has 60 mana cost which is very high to help players using all of their strongest high mana monsters. Moreover, the ruleset is opportunity which makes the battle much more interesting since all of monsters can attack in any position. Almost all splinters are available except dragon.

The summoner I used for the taunt strategy is Chanseus the Great since it has very great defence abilities, repair, tank heal and resurrect. All of those abilities help the taunt monster in the last position immortal. I used Shieldbearer in the last position so Chanseus will help to repair 2 armor, restore 1/3 of Shieldbearer maximum health and bring back him into life with 1 health point if he is being killed in the battlefield.

As the tank monster, I chose Uriel the Purifier since he has very high health points (12) and heal ability, so every turn, he can restore 4 health points. This ability and stats makes Uriel the purifier one of the best life tank monster. Another amazing skill is recharge. This ability will allow him to attack the enemy 3 times higher than his original attack. This kind of attack could kill the enemy in one turn. At level 3, he has Flying ability. Along with 3 speed the chance to evade the opponent's attack who don't have flying ability is high.

The second monster is Djinn Renova. I used the Level 5 of her since in that stage, she has unlocked triage ability which can heal friendly monster in the backline that has taken the most damage. The amount of heal is the maximum health divided by 3, rounded down. Minimum is 2. The triage will be very useful to heal Shieldbearer in every round. Since I used lv.5 Shield bearer so Renova will restore 3 health points in each round. Her second ability is strengthen which increased the friendly health point by 1.

The Third monster is Adelade Brightwing. In level 3, She has 4 abilities, flying, resurrect, repair and immunity. The repair ability will restore shield to friendly monster whose shield has broken the most. This is the main ability in the battle since it will restore 2 Shieldbearer armour in each round. The flying ability will prevent her to take 2 damage in earthquake ruleset and increase the chance to evade enemies attack who don't have flying ability. The immunity will make her resistance against negative status effect such as poison, headwinds, silence, Demoralize, etc.

The forth monster is Spirit Hoarder. This monster is belong to legendary neutral monster and has triage, dispel and blind in level 3. Just like Djinn Renova, the triage ability will restore 1/3 of Shield bearer maximum health. The dispel will remove all of the opponent's positive status, such as strengthen, inspire, Divine Shield, etc. the third ability is blind which can increase the chance for the opponent's melee and ranged attack monsters to miss their target when attacking.

The fifth monster is Lone Boatman. This monster has similar abilities to Adelade Brightwing, repair, which can restore up to 2 Shieldbearer's armour in each turn. His main ability started from lv.1 is snipe ability which make him able to attack the opponent who has no attack, magic or ranged attack in the backline started from the smallest position. for example if there are 2 magic monster in second and third position, Lone boatman will attack magic monster in second first rather than third.

The last monster who is also the main character in this article is Shieldbearer. His main ability is taunt which makes all of the opponent's attack goes directly to him (except the monster who has scattershot ability, it's not affected by taunt). The taunt ability is very great ability as it can protect the friendly monster who has small health points. As we already know that all of the attacks will go to Shield bearer, we need to support him using triage, repair and resurrect ability. That's the reason why I put many monsters with triage, repair and resurrect. 😁

In the first round we can see the pyre used all of his best monsters with high mana, such as Chain Golem, Grum Flameblade, Djinn Inferni and Legionnaire Alvar. he set up high speed monsters too such as Pyromaniac and Exploding rats. In the other side, life team has arranged the team with taunt ability in the last position, 2 monster with triage ability, 2 monsters with repair ability and 1 summoner with triage, repair and resurrect ability. this all combined skills will work together as a unity to keep Shieldbearer alive. In this round, we can see exploding rats and Pyromaniac died after getting magic attack.

In the second round Djinn Inferni died after getting hit by magic attack too. Although they have high speed using Pyre as their summoner, they can not avoid magic attack. In the other side all of the fire splinter team looks useless since Shieldbearer health points are still 12 with 2 armour. Thanks to 3 repair and 3 triage ability.

In this round, no change happened in the game. Life team is still protecting Shieldbearer perfectly. Once he is back to his normal health, the triage ability healed some other monsters. In the end of the battle, we can see Chain golem health points is just 2 left and looks like he will die in the next round.

As predicted, Chain Golem died in this round and all of the life team attack Legionnaire Alvar. His health point is just 3 left while all of life splinters health points and armours are still in 100% state. With the right strategy, we can win the match very easily.

In this round, Legionnaire Alvar died. and Grum Flameblade left in the fire team. Although he has 8 melee attack against Uriel the Purifier with his giant killer ability, Uriel has armour which restored in every round which makes him resistance against any physical attack.

As we can see in the above picture, life splinter strength is the way how they can restore some health and armour each round which makes them immortal. As we can expect that all of the enemies monsters will attack taunt monster, we have to put monsters with repair, triage and resurrect ability to keep him alive so that we can defeat enemy without any life splinter being killed.
