GRUM FLAMEBLADE IS STRONGER THAN LLAMA WITH HYDRA - GIVEAWAY #19

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia, In this Battle Weekly Challenge, I am going to share to all of you an epic battle which show us the legendary Grum Flameblade against the legendary earth summoner, Scarred llama mage with the legendary neutral, Hydra. Maybe some of you might think that Hydra with his heal and last stand ability will kill Grum Flameblade very easily, but... this article will show you how Grum (A single fighter) can beat Hydra along with Llama. The match cost 18 mana with 2 kind of rulesets, reverse speed, where all monsters with the lowest speed will attack first and Melee mayhem, where all melee monsters can attack in any position. This little mana will make both players to use their main monster as an ace. I was choosing Grum Flameblade as fire splinter is available while my opponent used Hydra with Scarred Llama Mage as earth splinter is available too.

Icon	Ruleset	Explanation
	Reverse Speed	Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. Try to pick monsters with 1 speed because they have the best chance of evading Melee and Ranged attacks.
	Melee Mayhem	Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position. In normal condition, Melee can only attack in the first position except for those who have sneak or opportunity ability.

Fill the blank spot as it's just cost 0 mana

2^nd position : Grum Flameblade

REASON TO PICK UP
1 speed only (Which makes him attack first)
Bloodlust ability (increased all stats after killing enemies)
5 Melee attack (additional 1 by Tarsa)

3^rd position : Radiated Scorcher

REASON TO PICK UP
Cheap monster (1 mana) with 2 melee attack
Good speed (2) in reverse speed ruleset

4^th position : Halfling Alchemist

REASON TO PICK UP
1 speed only (Which makes him attack first)
Halfling ability (Each time the monster hit the enemy, all of the opponent's attack will be halved)

5^th position : Scorch Fiend

REASON TO PICK UP
Free mana monster with 2 melee attack
Good speed (2) in reverse speed ruleset

- BATTLE ANALYSIS -

Alright everybody, for now, let's jump into the battle analysis :

Round 1

In the first round, both players used Furious Chicken as a sacrifice towards their opponent. The earth player put Hydra in the last position as he hope to give Hydra last stand ability, so he could be a super power monster with high melee attack, Thorn ability and immortal since he has heal ability. These abilities looks pretty dangerous for fire melee monsters, but let us see until the end of the match since the ruleset is reverse speed and last stand ability makes Hydra speed become very high.

Round 2

Up to round 2, All of the earth monsters have been killed by fire team and as we all predicted, Hydra got last stand ability which makes him a super monsters with 5 Melee attack, 15 health points and heal ability but his 6 speed is very bad against monster who has 1 speed as the ruleset is reverse speed. The speed difference between Hydra and chicken is very high, 1 and 6 which makes Hydra's attack missed. On the other hand, Grum has killed 2 monsters so far and makes his melee damage become 7, Very high.

Round 3

In this round, we can see Radiated Scorcher died after attacking Hydra, due to Thorn ability. Now, only Grum and Halfling Alchemist who can attack Hydra. Alchemist attack doesn't give high impact since it's only 1 ranged attack and the halving effect is getting cleansed by Llama. Hydra attack to Chicken is again missed due to high speed difference.

Round 4

In this round fire team has successfully reduced Hydra's health point to 2 HP only and it increased again to 7 due to heal ability but this is not enough to save him from Grum 7 melee attack in the next turn. Hydra attack to chicken is still missed.

Round 5

Grum killed Hydra in 1 shot which makes all of his stats except speed increased by 1. The match is over, Grum team won the battle. 😍

- STRATEGY EXPLANATION -

The first tips in this battle is make sure to put monster with 1 speed in reverse speed ruleset since they will attack first. 2 speed is fine but 3 and above are not recommended since they are considered as high speed. In this example I put Grum Flameblade as my ace monster since his speed is 1 only and he has very high melee attack.

The next tips is feel free to put melee monsters in Melee Mayhem ruleset as they can attack from any position in the backline but we still need to consider to put monster who should be protected in the middle since it's the safest position. In this example I put Halfling Alchemist in the middle since he is such a precious monster with his halving ability.
