Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy - Sonata c-moll
This is the Sonata in c-moll written by the german composer Felix Mendelssohn-Barholdy . I played this piece with the pipe organ of Žiobiškis church.
Sonata has 4 parts:
- Grave
- Adagio
- Allegro maestoso e vivace
- Fuga: Allegro moderato

I love these Sonatas. I have been "playing" the B-flat major one for years, but may have to actually program it at some point. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am glad to know that this recording inspired you for playing these pieces. Good luck
An enormous play! Amazing what you can do on this single manual instrument. Great to see you back :)
Thank you. It was first time when I played all this Sonata on this instrument although seperate parts of this Sonata I learned on this instrument ;)

Great performance! I find the adagio difficult on two manuals, let alone on one manual as you do.
Thank you. It was difficult part for one manual instrument but not imposible :)

Wonderful sound. How fantastic it is to hear the tubes of an organ in the hands of a professional musician. A very delicate sonata. Kind regards @sapolasa
Thank you :)
A piece that takes you to dream places.
You interpret the organ masterfully.
