Plan 2024 [PL/ENG]

PL: Grałem ostatnio w grę planszową. Polegała na kompletowaniu i sprzedawaniu pasów kontuszowych. Jako, że grałem w nią po raz pierwszy i niezbyt orientowałem się w regułach, to przez pierwsze kilka tur kompletnie odpuściłem sprzedaż pasów. Ograniczyłem się tylko do najprostszej akcji, czyli do zbierania odpowiednich kawałków. Za "monetyzację" zabrałem się dopiero pod sam koniec rozgrywki, gdy miałem już bardzo dużo pasów. Przy czym proponowane przez mnie stawki były tak niskie, że wygrałem większość licytacji i gdy przyszło do podliczania punktów, to okazało się, że... mam ich najwięcej.

ENG: I recently played a board game. It was about collecting and selling Sarmatian belts. As I was playing it for the first time and not very familiar with the rules, for the first few turns I completely let go of selling the belts. I limited myself to the simplest action, that of collecting the right pieces. I only got down to 'monetising' at the very end of the game when I already had a lot of belts. The stakes I proposed were so low that I won most of the auctions and when it came to calculating the points, it turned out that.... I had the most points.

PL: Mam wrażenie, że opisana powyżej rozgrywka to alegoria Królestwa Bez Kresu. Przez ostatnie lata pojawiały się w nim różne elementy, które w ogóle nie były ze sobą połączone: gry planszowe, lekcje polsko-ukraińskie, spotkania Book Clubu, muzeum (nie tylko w toalecie), Hive, VR, prowizoryczne studio nagrań... Było to trochę jak budowanie talii. Teraz brakuje już tylko jednej karty (albo pierścienia) i będzie można je wszystkie połączyć. Jestem święcie przekonany, że tym brakującym ogniwiem jest edukacja. A konkretnie: edukacja domowa na poziomie szkoły średniej.

ENG: have the impression that the game described above is an allegory of the Kingdom Without Limit. Over the last few years it has featured various elements that were not connected at all: board games, Polish-Ukrainian lessons, Book Club meetings, a museum (not just a toilet), Hive, VR, a recording studio.... It was a bit like building a deck. Now all that's missing is a card (or a ring) and you'll be able to put them all together. I am firmly convinced that this missing link is education. Specifically: home education at secondary school level.

PL: Edukacja domowa to formuła, w której dziecko nie chodzi do szkoły i samo uczy się w domu. Nie ma sprawdzianów. Każdy przedmiot musi jednak zaliczyć zdając egzamin. Przypomina to trochę studia zaoczne. A może nawet bardziej niż "trochę", bo największa zaleta i największa wada są takie same. Otóż student zaoczny ma dużo więcej czasu niż student dzienny (dlatego często pracuje). I to jest plus. Z drugiej jednak strony jego życie studenckie jest mocno ograniczone. Spotykając się z ludźmi z roku tylko dwa razy w miesiącu o wiele trudniej wytworzyć trwałe relacje. I to jest minus. Ale tu właśnie wchodzi Królestwo Bez Kresu (całe na biało) ze specjalnym programem skierowanym do uczniów edukacji domowej. Zakłada on regularne spotkania w grupie rówieśniczej, wspólne uczenie się oraz działanie. W tej sytuacji zaspokojona jest nie tylko potrzeba socjalizacji, ale również zniwelowane ryzyko "straty czasu". I problem rozwiązany!

ENG: Home education is a formula in which the child does not go to school and learns at home by himself. There are no tests. However, he or she must pass each subject by passing an exam. It is a bit like part-time studies. Or maybe even more than "a little", because the biggest advantage and the biggest disadvantage are the same. Well, an extramural student has a lot more time than a full-time student (so he or she often works). And this is an advantage. On the other hand, however, his student life is severely limited. Meeting people from the course only twice a month, it is much more difficult to form lasting relationships. And that's a minus. But this is where Kingdom Without Limit enters with a special programme aimed at home education students. It involves meeting regularly in a peer group, learning and acting together. Here, not only is the need for socialisation satisfied, but the risk of 'wasting time' is also eliminated. And the problem solved!

PL: Najlepsze w tym wszystkim jest jednak to, że jest to również rozwiązanie wielu problemów KBK. Przykład pierwszy z brzegu: brakuje nam Polaków do rozmów z Ukraińcami. Jednym z priorytetów naszego programu jest nauka języków. Nie trzeba być geniuszem, żeby połączyć ze sobą te kropki. Podobnie z edukacyjnymi grami planszowymi, które tworzę. Wymagają testów. Mając uczniów pod ręką spokojnie można połączyć naukę z dopracowaniem gier. Oczywiście to tylko czubek góry lodowej. Promocja Królestwa, promocja Hive, działania @hive.aid - wszystko to może być elementem naszego programu edukacyjnego. Po co pisać wypracowania, jak można publikować artykuły na Hive? Po co wkuwać bez sensu fakty historyczne, jak można zorganizować na dany temat spotkanie otwarte? Oczywiście nie wszystko jest dla każdego i jestem tego w pełni świadom. Szkoła Bez Kresu też nie jest dla każdego. Mam jednak nadzieję, że te kilka osób z otwartymi głowami i chęcią do działania się znajdzie. Profil jest dość wyrazisty: NGO, języki i nauki humanistyczne. Chciałbym, by po 4 latach w KBK licealista miał szeroką wiedzę o świecie, by rozumiał logikę historii, by potrafił się dogadać w kilku językach i by dobrze znał specyfikę trzeciego sektora. Moim głównym celem jest stymulowanie chęci działania i myślenia, tak by budować organizacje nowej jakości - nastawione na czynienie świata lepszym a nie na karmienie biurokracji i bezsensowne wydawanie pieniędzy.

ENG: The best thing about this, however, is that it is also a solution to many of the Kingdom's problems. First example: we don't have enough Poles to talk to Ukrainians. One of the priorities of our programme is language learning. It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots. Likewise with the educational board games I create. They require testing. With students on the board, it is easy to combine learning with fine-tuning the games. Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Kingdom promotion, Hive promotion, @hive.aid activities - all these can be part of our education programme. Why write essays when you can publish articles on Hive? Why memorise pointless historical facts when you can organise an open meeting on the topic? Of course, not everything is for everyone and I am fully aware of this. School Without Limit is not for everyone either. However, I hope that the few people with open minds and a willingness to act will be found. The profile is quite distinct: NGOs, languages and humanities. I would like a high school student to have a broad knowledge of the world after four years at KBK, to understand the logic of history, to be able to get along in several languages and to have a good understanding of the specifics of the third sector. My main goal is to stimulate a willingness to act and think in order to build new quality organisations - focused on making the world a better place and not on feeding bureaucracy and spending money senselessly.

PL: Czy znajdą się chętni? Mam nadzieję, że tak. Zwłaszcza, że z założenia Szkoła Bez Kresu ma być bezpłatna. Chciałbym by finansowana była z darowizn oraz z DHF (jako jedyna szkoła wykorzystująca blockchain Hive). Jestem jednak realistą i wiem, że trudno namówić kogokolwiek do wsparcia nieistniejącej inicjatywy. Dlatego plan trzeba wdrażać etapami. Pierwszy etap to przygotowanie oferty edukacyjnej (wszystko jest opracowane, trzeba to tylko spisać). Drugi to dotarcie do uczniów szkoły średniej w edukacji domowej i przeprowadzenie naboru. Trzeci to rozpoczęcie działań. I dopiero po miesiącu lub dwóch będzie można myśleć o czwartym etapie, czyli zapewnieniu finansowania tego projektu. Bo nie mam najmniejszych wątpliwości, że długofalowe prowadzenie szkoły w oparciu o wolontariat jest niemożliwe. I tu Hive może odegrać kluczową rolę. Zwłaszcza, że wykształcenie aktywnych społecznie obywateli korzystających z blockchainu jest czymś bardzo pożądanym.

ENG: Will there be takers? I hope so. Particularly as the intention is for the School Without Limit to be free of charge. I would like it to be funded by donations and by DHF (as the only school using Hive blockchain). However, I am a realist and know that it is difficult to persuade anyone to support a non-existent initiative. Therefore, the plan has to be implemented in stages. The first stage is to prepare the educational offer (everything is worked out, it just needs to be written down). The second is to reach out to secondary school students in home education and conduct a recruitment drive. The third is to start the activities. And only after a month or two will it be possible to think about the fourth stage, that of securing funding for this project. Because I don't have the slightest doubt that running a school on a volunteer basis in the long term is impossible. And this is where Hive can play a key role. Especially since the education of socially active citizens using the blockchain is something that is highly desirable.

PL: Oczywiście nie jest to jedyny plan na 2024 rok. Niewątpliwie jednak jest najważniejszy i ma on fundamentalne znaczenie dla Królestwa. Tak jak pisałem - edukacja domowa to brakujące ogniwo w całym systemie. Im wcześniej zatem uda się wdrożyć ten pomysł w życie, tym lepiej. Mam nadzieję, że już na wiosnę będziemy mieć pierwszą grupę. De facto moglibyśmy ruszyć już jutro, ale wiem, że dotarcie do odpowiednich osób chwilę zajmie. Oby nie za długo...

ENG: Of course, this is not the only plan for 2024. However, it is undoubtedly the most important one and it is fundamental for the Kingdom. As I wrote - home education is the missing link in the whole system. So the sooner this idea can be put into practice, the better. I hope that we will already have the first group in the spring. In fact, we could start tomorrow, but I know it will take a while to get to the right people. Let's hope not too long...
