A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing a one year old on her birthday. It was a pretty fun photoshoot. Her parents brought a cake and let her smash her hands into the cake and play around in it. She had a ton of fun and ran around during the whole shoot without a care in the world.

This image was shot on my Canon 5D Mark IV with a Canon 100 mm f/2.8 lens in Provo, Utah. This is my entry in the Neoxian City Photo Challenge. If you want more info on the photo contest, make sure to go to the link and check it out. The contest is open to everyone on Steemit.

Thank you. I try and capture children being themselves and not being posed in some weird uncomfortable way.
