THE GREATEST GIFT

When I was a little boy
I felt the emptiness longing for my mother
I wondered why she was always out of my sight
My older sister was there in my side
On the other side was my father

Until the day, i knew how to understand
Why we were living apart from each other
Mother was working in the city
While our father was taking care of us
Whom I cherished and made me a better son

What I observed from our family
Made me realized study harder was the best key
Education could help me escape the poverty
I did working while studying
Thinking one day, God would gives us a greatest gift

Time flies quickly, all my sacrifices was paid off
The support of my sister was a part on it
Building and concreting the foundation
I dedicated all my struggles for my family
That one day, there will be a better day

My parents were so happy
Waiting for my graduation day in a university
But the day before it, earthquake hitted our place
Roads were closed, no source of transportation
Nobody was with me in my graduation day

I considered everything as the greatest gift
We were not so happy far beyond expectations
But enough for me, my family were safe
Earthquake broke our house but never broke our home as family. LOVE IS HERE EVERYDAY!
