Today being the weekend here, me and hubby decided to go for a morning drive to the Corniche. Last night we were at the beach and it was cold, the weather was just amazing, so we planned it then only that morning we will drive to the Corniche and have our morning tea there. I am not a breakfast person so we do not usually plan morning outings except for a drive and return back. The weather is so good right now, that I just cannot avoid being outdoors. Friday mornings I like to wake up late and take my own sweet time to do things if I am at home, but today has been an early morning.

The drive is scenic even in the city, on one side is the Sea and on the other side is mountains. Then there are flowers all over, everything together just looks so amazing.

Anyone who visits Oman wants to drive here, the roads are so well planned and they are not congested so one enjoys driving here, also adding the beautiful scenery to the drive, which makes it perfect.

We too a halt here and sat down for sometime, we have our folding chairs always kept in the car for such halts.

This is one of my favorite place for walks, normally me and hubby come here in the evening time regularly for our walks. But the real beauty of this place is in the day time, when you can see the color of the water and the birds.

After returning home then I was feeling like I was in the weather coma and wanted to take a nap. With a short nap I am feeling fresh for the day again. It's a busy day since tonight I am travelling to Mumbai and I have to complete the packing and lots of small works at home.
