If you see a tree grow, you will agree with me that there are many activities that had gone forth first before the tree will grow observably out of the ground. In fact, it will have to go deep into the ground first, then take its root downwards under the earth, before it will get the required sustenance to grow out of the ground. This means that the level of the depth of the root will affect the height of the tree. This is why the very tall trees normally have very deep and strong roots to sustain them, as against the shrubs whose roots are almost superficial. In the same way in life, it is the work you have done in the secrets that will become manifested openly as success.

Behind any successful achievement you see is someone who has committed their time, resources, nature, and their entire being to prepare and labour for it. Most times, these labour are not known by others but they will only see the result when it starts to speak. In the same way, one of the reasons why some people do not achieve what they had dreamt of is that they have not made the necessary sacrifices nor laboured extensively for it.

Have you ever considered how bodybuilders gain excessive amount of muscles over their body, or maybe other people trying to burn fat by exercising in the gym? You will agree with me that these things do not get achieved overnight but after months or even years of extensive physical exercise. You may not have seen the intense labour that they have put in, but the result will definitely speak for itself. People are not interested to know the level of work that you have to do. In fact, they may not understand what you have to sacrifice to achieve the success; they are only interested in seeing the results. If you want to achieve something worthwhile, then you have to put in a complementary effort towards it.
