There was a time not long ago @fulltimegeek would downvote every comment I made with 100+ accounts and leave 3000+ Jaw Theme song videos on every post I made for months. Then he talks about bullies like he isn't an expert. The hypocrisy is strong in this one.
Case in point, a series I was building to onboard a tech community which he single handly prevented from happening.
Like 2990 of these comments are his bots.
Why, because I refused to help him get over $400 worth of upvotes on content stolen by a third party site.
No he is still throwing a fit and downvoting all my posts to zero and downvoting anything I upvote. So instead of voting 200 unique authors a week, I just vote the stabilizer.
Yeah noticed that, pity it came to that, especially since I know @fulltimegeek and I didn't think he'd go that route of downvoting the authors to retaliate, I remember we fought together in the Haejin wars.
It's not the first time. Likely won't be the last. Doesn't matter now as I only upvote the stabilizer so no one will get downvoted based on what I upvote.
I've mostly been powering up on an anonymous account these days due to man children like him.
You took a sensible decision to avoid the most hurt. I admire that, thank you, Marky. I honestly don't understand how people like him don't see the overall hurt that they are doing to the platform's credibility, little guys aside. You would think with the amount of investment that there would be more rationality in the approach. One day there needs to be a way to prevent this tit for tat immature behavior. A good start would be not allowing auto downvote follows of other accounts. If you are going to make a decision as serious as DV which impacts not just the earnings on a post but also the rating of other users, you'd better be damn sure that you have taken the time to read and evaluate the content of the post yourself or familiarised yourself with the author. To prevent these wholesale broad DV auto follows would go some way towards this I would think. Then sure if he has the time every day to go and manually DV every single account upvoted by the likes of you, Ecency, etc etc then let him, but at least it levels the playing fields somewhat. Is that not something the witnesses can look into doing?
Ahhh yes, they're definitely not a bully... while going around downvoting new and hardworking users who rarely get large posts at all while they rake in 200+ hive per day curating and not creating content. Simply because they don't like someone else who voted on a post.
But yeah, I'm sure they're a super good person and a total champion.
