Spark Me Up
What have you got there?
The Good Lady peered at me curiously from where she sat, cross-legged on the floor attempting to change the batteries in one of the kid's toys.
I looked disparagingly at the heaving mess of plastic pieces in her hands to realise that this would be another toy beginning its journey to the great playhouse in the sky.
This, my lady. Is the most special of things.
I hefted the package up in the air and gave it a little twirl.
It was a small box, deceptively light for the awesomeness it contained.
What?
The Good Lady thumped the thing that looked as if it might have been a car or a robotic horse at one time down on the floor exasperatedly.
Can you...?
She held up a small screwdriver and glanced at me beseechingly.
No can do, baby girl. Not today. Nuh huh.
I zoomed the parcel I was holding past her head several times making whooooar noises like a Tie Fighter chasing a rebel X-Wing to a squirty laser doom.
Come on then, what is in the parcel?
Her voice had an edge to it like an old knife.
This my darling... is ... The Spark Mini Guitar Amplifier!!
A barrage of trumpets tootled in my head and a holy light surrounded the box and myself like a halo.
In real life, however, the Good Lady just sat there, screwdriver in hand and her head cocked to one as if I was a clown wearing a suit made out of cubes of pork meat and she was a hungry dog.
The what? It's tiny, how can it be an amplifier? All your other amps are big.
She trilled confusedly like a frog in a pillowcase.
I chuffled amusedly to myself. Ah the folly of non-guitar players and their silly non fingering finger ways.
It's teeny weeny!! That's the whole point! It's portable!!
With that I set to unboxing the legend that was The Spark Mini.
Look Madam at this splendid device. It has ten watts of stereo output and is battery powered with an estimated play of approx 8 hours between charges. Coupled with the Amp and effects modelling software it is capable of more tones than you can shake a stick at.
I lowered it to the ground and ferreted about for my wireless guitar dongle.
Hey, what are you doing? It's your turn to pick the kids up from School today and wait, arent you also meant to be working?
The Good Lady stood up and looked confused as if she had bought a pet dog and was only realising now that it was a mongoose and she kept thinking, wait a minute, I was sold a pup?!.
Pfftt. Pick up the kids? Work? Baby, there is guitar to be played.
I picked up my guitar and started to strum.
And incredibly, all wars ended and peace reigned throughout the world.
At this point I really would normally have a video of me playing like a demon albeit a bit of a shit one. Sadly though, there are mentally ill folk prowling the good posts of hive being abusive to folk so for the moment I shall refrain. Normal service will resume soon!
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.
They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
Marian wants to know what happened to your wife :) Did you help her :)
Not in a million years was my answer.
Hehe, I did in the end. But then I ran straight back to the amp!!!
I didn't help work! Lol
Ah! Very wise as you know where your bread is buttered :)
Hehe, you are very right there my friend and we always have to look out for that! :0D
Kudos to you and good night from South Africa,
And to you mate, still early here but g'night!!
I'm trying to find that thing for sale with no luck so far. Did you get special access thanks to your fame and guitar hero status? It looks really dinky, but I need to hear how it sounds. Who are these trolls who would dare to criticise your playing?
!PIZZA
I already have the original Spark 40 so got access to an early bird deal. It still took forever to arrive though, I ordered it way back in February I think. Might even have been January!
It sounds very good, in fact it sounds like it should be a lot bigger than it is. I do like the portable aspect very much. The presets it comes with are ok but I have my own which I just downloaded via the app from the Spark 40 and it sounds very fine indeed!
And the troll, is just that world traveling hooker, his obsession would probably have him stalking me elsewhere!
!BEER
Sorry, out of BEER, please retry later...
Don't let that travel troll hassle you. He won't find himself welcome thanks to his alienating and insulting the whole community. We can't let him spoil our fun.
I don't have any of the modern mini-amps. My Roland Cube does modelling, but is probably considered old hat now. I do have a nice little valve amp, but it does not get used much at home. I just tend to play through my Zoom effects box. Having good sounds is inspiring.
Rock out!
You know, you are right. I blummin well will do as video of the sounds!
I have a nice little Orange amp which I really like but that and the pedals always took up a lot of space so when I saw the first spark I thought oh aye, I could have that in the living room. Which I did and get to play all the time downstairs now and not in the attic. I never tried a Roland cube but always wanted one.
You are right, when you have the right sounds you can't stop playing!
\m/
I don't know anything about amps or mini amps but it looks cool. Have fun.
I have been, it's awesome!! Cheers mate!
Good to hear. Cheers!
Thanks!
You are truly welcome. Enjoy this utopia!!
Had no clue someone like you could hook their bagpipes into something with batteries now, and still make the sound well enough to be called "music."
Years ago a picked one up with plans to learn. Six string acoustic thing but I was also a wrestling fan and ended up smashing it over my brother's head since that was a legit move when I was young. Still somehow ended up losing that match though.
See your little message at the end. I noticed the crazy has escalated to the point now where folks don't feel comfortable.
Hahaha!! Mr N!! You have no idea how much I smiled when I saw your name pop up!!! Or should I say no name!
You know, there is a saying that the Scots can jam their bagpipes into just about anything!
I was quite the avid wrestling fan when I was younger so when I got my first guitar I had to set up a regular delivery of foldable chairs so that whenever I had a fight with my brother I could smash him down with one. It worked a treat.
And yeah, ole butthurt, he doesn't make me feel like sharing my other socials about much. But then, fuck it. I think I will, after all its not the first time I have had some mentally ill diseased looking thing fighting for my attention. I live in Scotland after all :0D
Still alive, man. A bit dead inside though. No drive to be creative anymore but that has always come in spurts. Of course I miss you folks and miss being around. Always puts me in a good mood to show up and at least get in a quick hello when I have a connection to use. Ended up going back to the wilderness. That doesn't mean I don't have to deal with crazy though. There's a squirrel there that's lucky I'm out of ammo, don't know how to make arrows that fly straight, and tend to use chairs for sitting and/or lounging now rather than self defense.
Good to see you though man.
It's great to see you too dude! I know exactly what you mean, the creativity comes in tides. Sometimes it's there crashing against you and others it's just absent.
Absinthe sorts it out I hear ;0)
Or ground up squirrel... Get that varmint!!
It's not a ground squirrel but I suppose I could try to teach it how to leave the trees alone and start digging holes...
I fear it has already dug it's own hole
The Holey Shit.
Aint no better shit!
The shit flies when the sky dies. I repeat. The shit flies when the sky dies.
The shit is dying and the skies are flying.
Roger that. Engage!
Hey, that's demonic. It should be banned!! ;0)
I don't have time for that. I must go reinforce my grandiose delusions by insulting a Disney princess for being a cartoon and that should be enough to send the share value on the stock market plummeting.
That's right. You stick it to them animators. Mimicking real life in such a way. They must be stopped!!!
I wonder if this is an asylum. Would we know? There seems to be a few crazy people around...
Just a few... lol.
It could well be. Perhaps we died, and this is our hell? Fuck, that could be it!
I didn't even get to say goodbye to the cat...
sighmeow
Cats are overrated. I have it on good authority. I have literally just been cleaning a shit-festooned one. Gaar
Your cat is too lazy to use its own tongue? This might be a good time to sell. Used cats are still bringing in a pretty penny but I don't know how long that'll last in this economy.
Or eat it....
That would take A LOT of mustard.
Add some spicy chillis to that mustard, then you're talking.
"Then you're talking."
How? Do the fucking chillis turn into words nowadays? Goddamn gmos...
They can if you eat too much ghost pepper. I can confirm this from experience.
I don't dabble in peppers. It's always a bad trip after. Especially when the closest establishment selling antacids is often two hours away or more. That drive sucks.
I don't know how you could say "No" to those burgers and I'm not even a burger person.
So I was planning to spin those words and make a dumb joke like, "I went to school with a Rodney Burger." Of course before I bullshit I always like to do my research. Did you know there's hundreds if not thousands of Rodney Burgers out there? I thought for sure nobody would ever name their kid Rodney Burger because it's stupid so therefore that would be the perfect name to use but now that I know, I won't be using that joke, because I don't want to offend him.
😂 So much effort for a joke. In light of that, I once knew a man by the name of Dick Mann. A very nice man and so much not a dick, he was quite happy to joke about his name.

How familiar are you with Saskatchewan?
Like the I've been to almost every town and city kind of familiar.
Oh boy, I have nothing more to add, except to ask, are you Canadian?
Total Canuck.
Ha! I had the feeling but had previously chickened out on asking.
It says right there in my profile. Canada.
Well, I'm blind, very blind and not paying enough attention.
Sure is nice to see you back again even if only in the comments. Crazy is still alive and kicking it seems. Won't be forever though!
I hope your creativity comes back soon. Had a good chuckle at the squirrel that has become your enemy, they are bloody sneaky little buggars.
It's my fault because I thought it would be cool to teach it to eat out of my hand. Now I think it wants to dig holes through the walls just to get to my hand (even while I'm sleeping).
Might have to live trap her and move her away but not sure if it has babies. Most likely does. Such a squirrely dilemma to be in...
Oh my, that would have been the most tragic thing I've read today if it weren't so funny. They are excellent at problem solving and if that squirrel wants to get to your hand, it will find a way.
It is spring your side now isn't it, so she probably does have pups, might be better to wait a while or just become friends and welcome her into your life, it might be easier than the other options.
Yup. Spring sprang up outta nowhere again. Massive flooding and I'm thinking this year it'll only get worse.
I totally get wildlife. The squirrel simply sees me as a food source and since it's early in the season (long winters here, late springs), I'm easy money during a period of scarcity. Squirrel probably thinks I'm a nut tree and I'm cool with that. So what I need to do is build a feeder and place it somewhere between their place and mine. Then simply keep it full, grab my coffee, sit back, then observe hundreds of chickadees steal all the food and ruin my plans.
Nice amp Boomy - even though I know nothing about guitars or about amps...Also nice knife :)
Your descriptions get me every time. Frogs in pillowcases. That's a funny picture in my mind!
Where will you use it? You can give concert in streets :)
Hehe, I thought exactly that. I can use it anywhere and it's plenty loud enough!
Now, if only I could play more than ten seconds of a song! :0D

.Cool little amp, didn't know they came that small lol. The wonders of technology as they advance!
There will always be trolls here sadly, thankfully I don't get pestered by them but I know you and some others do. I guess it's flattering if they are around waiting to circle jerk!
I didn't believe that an amp so small could be so effective!!
Yeah, it's a fact of life and not just Hive. Keyboard jockeys, whipping their horse into a lather!
I thought my chance to hear you play had at last arrived, but no, must wait now for the nasties to settle so I can have a listen.
Nice looking amp, lucky you and yeah, forget all else. play like a demon! Btw, that's the fanciest non-box cutter type knife I've ever seen for unveiling boxed items.
Hehe, that is my Leatherman skeletool! I left it in frame deliberately because I love it so much! It's also the sharpest thing I have ever known. It's the simple things that make us happy at times!
I like that Leatherman skeletool. Probably why I was eyeballing it. I'm so much less elegant with boxes, I stab key points with a ball point pen...very old office (orfice) habit.
That's what I enjoy most. Lately it's been listening to cardinals singing right outside my apartment.
I have been guilty of the same ballpoint pen stabbing!
😂, you're familiar with that technique but became more refined. I still do this, even though I have a variety load of knives.
Haha, have you ever used the plastic lid of one of the cheap bic pens as a stabby opening tool? I know I have. I often use the nearest thing to hand!
😂 Guilty! I totally have, also the end of a paper clip and whatever else is handy.
YEah, anything pokey or stabby does. Funnily enough there is always something to hand that can be subverted!
LOL! You've spent too much time in an office as well I see. Yes, always there is something handy and if not, I'll improvise further. I think I used a high heeled shoe one time, one of those long skinny spikey things I haven't been caught dead wearing for years now.
Ah the old skinny spikey heels. There are many who tromp around my workplace in them. I have never seen a one wheek one off and attempt to use it as a tool! :OD
LOL! The only good thing about wearing them in an office is taking them off, so I was already half of the way there. Some of those shoes or boots, I swear you could do a lobotomy with them.
You could. Some of the ladies in my work wear some toweringly high ones. Its a fine sight :0D
😂I can't argue with the fine sight it creates, nor the tool ability, nor the weapon potential, especially the ones with steel spike heels. I did trade the spikes in for the chunky heels, limited to 4" because those I can run across main streets of six lanes at full gallop and not break my neck nor be mowed pancake flat by some vehicle.
The weapon potential was alwys a good one. Imagine being able to whip of a shoe and kill someone with it! Then again, if you weren't wearing them you might be able to actually get away :OD
It most certainly is and well....
Those doing the street walk in those things scared the crap out of me when I first moved to the city. They could run in them, six inches of spike, mostly steel, or fully steel. Later I found out they do indeed use them as a weapon for protection in conducting there business. So it is a thing. That's where the thought came from, LMAO
You have to use whats at hand! Or at foot, or wherever it is!
At foot! LOL! I'm guilty of that. Still love my steel toed and steel shank work boots, heavy as they are. Steel toes are always a good thing, not just in workboots ;)
I used to have a great pair of steelies - my steel toe capped rigger boots. Which I got solely because they were chainsaw proof. It's the simple things!
Oh yeah, you need those for a chainsaw! It is the simple things always. I'm assuming said chainsaw was used in cutting trees, not doing large sculptures.
That was exactly what they were! Kevlar lined rigger boots which could withstand a good chainsawing. I loved them things!
Haha, yes, those are beauties, nothing beats work boots like that. Even with them, I'd never trust myself with a chainsaw, the one tool I won't touch. 😂
Funnily enough, I am with you 100% on that. I nearly chopped into my leg with an enthusiastic hedge trimmer and have had enough close shaves with that yo not fancy having a close shave with anything that could actually remove a limb!
That's the only tool that's given me pause. The thought of missing limbs did it. I admired the way my father made it look so easy, but at the same time he was long skilled with that being a woodsman. Hedge trimmers I've left to others, although I've tried them out a bit. All those teeth and I'm no Edward Scissorhands!
I have a corded one and have cut through the cable three times. Needless to say, I have gotten a bit more careful now. You just have to be with whirly bladed madness!
The cord, three times, well, you know what? That's something easy enough to do. Were there sparks? I'm a bit jumpy regarding electricity (some stories there). Yes, one must be paying attention. Seems the more dangerous it is, the more I pay attention. Ordinary everyday things are what take me down (broken ankle, ripped ligaments requiring surgery from walking on the street and turning a corner too fast at the wrong angle).
I apologize for the delay in replying. When I do that, it's because real life things require my attention. I won't get into that since it's thoroughly unpleasant business (when isn't there some of that for all of us?).
I do have to tell you, as I was walking buy a house, I saw something special the other day that reminded me of you. Most everyone here puts a great deal of effort into their small gardens, so it's quite enjoyable to appreciate this on a walk. So there was this guy, voraciously hacking away like a madman and I wondered, what the heck requires such physical effort to do battle with in terms of greenery. All on one side of the walk to the front of his house, was a very small micro forest of bamboo! I've never seen someone with that here, so I thought it must be similar to what you described having to deal with. It was so interesting to see. I didn't know it would grow outside in the ground like that and survive.
There were no sparks whatsoever. In fact it was a little disappointing almost.
I was saw saw sawing away and swinging the thing about with mad abandon. Its a large one not one of the little piddly ones that people trim leaves with. Then snick and it goes dead and I am like what the funk then notice the cable isn't hanging as if there is a weight on it.
I am possibly very lucky!
Oooo Electricity danger stories, I like!
Never apologise for a delay! NEVER!
Now that bamboo tale is quite cool. That is what I love about bamboo, once it gets going it can be quite hardy. Some might say pesty lol!
Wow, no sparks! That is a bit disappointing, but at the same time, I'd say that's a good thing. I wonder if it's built into the design that if such occurs, it shorts out. Of course, it was fast, so there's that also.
😂I know the kind, toy type. I'd be very unhappy at losing a tool that way. If there's something I still have an attachment to, it's tools.
LOL! Well, you'd think it would be welding that would have made me jumpy, but no, very comfy there. One of the worst was a home office, where I had an external hard drive plugged into power bar with computer, also charging an ipod on power bar. There was this inexpensive clip on lamp also plugged in, low wattage, so that wasn't the issue. I'd had the lamp too long and wiring must have gone. I'm sitting there at the desk with all this on.
All of a sudden, I smell melting plastic and then a large arc with the light cord and all I could think is FIRE going to happen, cut the circuit and karate chopped the cord of the light so it disconnected from the power bar. I melted the ipod partially, fried the external hard drive, fried the computer, and the power bar all in one fell swoop. Plus scared the crap out of myself. Took several years after that to stop being jumpy about any electrical snap, such as turning on a light switch, any electrical household flash. Welding never bothered me and still doesn't to this day, no of course not, it's always some common ordinary thing that nails me every time. Things that don't typically happen to other people. If it's dangerous, I don't get injured. Go figure.
Thanks for that!
Bamboo looks like it has an invasive quality in it's nature, so it likes to "take over". Does it propagate by rhizome? I liked the way it looked, have always wondered what it would be like to be in a bamboo forest. I'll probably go back and photograph it.
Ever see white asparagus growing? I swear asparagus has to be the weirdest looking vegetable in the way it grows.
That is a freaky electrical tale! I once touched a heater in an old workplace and there was a blue flash and I found myself slumped against a wall on the other side of the room going what happened. Elevtricity is bad shit!
Bamboo is rhizome'ous! Most of the strains do not invade quite so aggressively in cold countries but they still spread a fair bit. Everything spreads in my garden though so I don't mind the odd fight every summer. hehe.
I have never seen any asparagus growing. I have heard it can grow quite quickly>
I thought you'd find that tale odd. You sound like you had a much more slap zap from electricity, jeez! I've heard a couple stories from electricians along those lines. No thanks!
Ahhhh! I thought it was rhizome typish. It seems like that. Your garden must have quite the spread. It's enjoyable getting out into it, wish I had a back yard, but maybe that will change at some point.
Asparagus looks like some alien thing, especially the white variety. It spreads underground in a mass, then pops up through the earth. I would think rhizome again, but I haven't checked to confirm that.
It did give me a bit more of a healthy respect to electricity than I had previously had. Before that, it was just a word and a magical force that made the world warm and light :O)
I didn't have a garden for years and years and years. I do like having one now. I think my garden is amazing, but my neighbours think it is some kind of green riot. What they can see of it anyway, lol!
One of my neighbours is pissed off with me because we have a bees nest on the fence that separates us and when they told me, in a tone that suggested getting rid of it I was like, eh, fuck no. Bees man! We need them!
😂 Those kind of experiences leave a lasting imprint. I don't even trust myself with fire, never mind electricity. Things like to burn me, literally. Those are other fun stories. Very funny now though.
So wonderful to have a garden. I haven't always had one either. It's an amazing experience. Might get your neighbours going on their own. This seems to spread. Relaxing also. Here though, it's also performance art, since enough neighbours have mentioned my garden to me, LOL. I never thought about anyone watching.
Screw the guy with the issues about bees, you most definitely need them. He needs a wasp's nest, bet that would stop his complaining. Hornets would work as well. I have personal experience there. I wonder what type of bees and could you do your own small honey making operation...hmmmm...
Fire! I love fire! Never had a bad experience with it! Although that makes me sound like a nutty arsonist. hehe.
We only have wasps so far. None of those mad hornets yet. Thankfully! I do like the bees although they are my kryptonite and if one comes near me and catches me unawares I squeal like a six year old!
FIRE! Hahaha! I bet you handle it better than I do. Nutty arsonist, LOLOL! What visions that brings forth. I wonder if you could spin a story with that?
Wasps, ugh, I keep my distance from those, since they can be aggressive. I get hornets on my balcony, even without the garden. One year they built a nest in a bucket full of elk antler crowns (see how those always get me in trouble?). I didn't know why they were hanging around until finding the deserted nest the next year. Now I get aggressive if they come around. I swat them off the balcony. You could put that six year old squeal to a song, bet that'd be wild.
Found bees last week, huge, later checked and they are "ground bees" who nest in the ground, or decaying plant matter close to ground. I made sure not to sit on a nest and was a little jumpy at bees almost half the size of my thumb.
I bet there is a story in that!
I used to do entirely fictional stories in my earlier Steemit/Hive career. I kinda miss those but I don't have the time for the daily blogging anymore. A crazy arsonist would be a good one!
I like bees and go out of my way not to kill them but yeah. Wasps are fair game. They are drawn to me too. It must be that six year old squal that they want to hear!
I have seen ground bees. I didn't even know there was such a thing till a few years ago.
I'm sure there is, I can already see the cover art. Hahaha, crazy arsonist totally fits you. The fictional writing always seems to take more energy and time. You've been here for a long while, so I can imagine the number of posts you've done. Always a juggle trying to balance things, especially these days, so I can see several reasons why you don't post daily. I think you're more frequent than I am though. Daily isn't something I'd ever be able to do. I admire those who can.
LOL! I agree with that. Oh boy, wasps like you, great. They must be picking up that vibe and homing in to hear. I just found out about the ground bees last week, LOL! I took some pics. It's the idea of nests in the ground. Hornets do that sometimes, so I'm already watching for these holes, just didn't realize bees, huge ones.
Daily posting is hard but you don't settle into a rythym. Although, I think it is easy for the quality of posts to suffer when done daily. Some people go too far with actifit and all that shit. Still, each to their own!
You are giving me the heebs now that I am going to sit on a seething cauldron of underground nesting bees and they will punish me for my sins!!
I died and it took some time to come back to this bloody annoying body.
In reality, had a serious family event occur. Complicated situation to be begin with, nothing new there. Still waiting for whatever crap is to follow. So I had to take some time to go deal with that, hence my silence.
Quality of posts can suffer when done daily, but that isn't always the case. Actifit is one of the types of posts I ignore completely, if I may be so blunt. It's best I not expand on my thoughts of actifit all that jazz associated with it, not having that much to do with Hive at all, LOL. I might offend people.
Settling into a rythym for posting, hahaha, awful me that I am, I immediately think of how I operate in terms of business, so I apply those sort of rules to accomplish consistent quality performance. I haven't been doing that on Hive because I didn't want my experience here to be oriented in such a direction. I'm guilty of enjoying the experience primarily of sharing some of what I create (as long as it measures up to my standards of quality) and meeting people, having that social experience with those I connect with on whatever it happens to be. Also guilty of liking to have fun, jokes and good conversation.
LOL! I find them easy to spot, the holes are not small usually. They also like to nest where dead leaves and plant matter are. They don't move super fast or seem to swarm, so fairly easy to spot. Just inspect where you park your bottom before planting it down.
True, there can be many cases of good daily posting and if I had the time I probably still would. Especially ina bear market because that is when yo can seriously build your stake because the prices are shit and you get lots of hives for rewards even tho the price is low.
I hope there isn't too much shit from your family event and that you are ok? I know what it can be like when you are waiting for some fallout. Glad you didn't die and have to resurrect yourself for real :O)
I never look where I park my arse, it has worked out alright so far, fingers crossed!
There, that, always back to the bloody time thing, LOL! True about the bear market.
I am okay, thanks for asking. I tend to take a time out when things arise that I need to deal with. That's my long habit of years now. I'm not keen on dying any time soon, lol, unless it's out of my hands. If so, I wouldn't be reincarnating here again, LOL.
To give you a little better idea, without my putting it into words, I'm on the second round of this with regard to my mother. I cannot at this time confirm anything. If you scroll down to the last few lines of that post, you'll see what I'm dealing with without my writing a book here.
I have a tendency not to think about what I'm sitting on the ground either. Think ants (more than once) and well, a bee got me one time, crawled into my pocket when sitting in a field, then when I was standing, put my hand in pocket and it got me. It was one of those ground bees too.
Oh my, I hear ya. My thoughts go out to you. When family goes bad is never good. Which sounds twee but my Good Lady has a brother who can be described in similar terms. There is no communications after the events of the past but occasionally he reaches out. Fucker.
Dont die, if there is any advise I can give in the world it would be that and Ithink you have it under control :OD
Thanks. It's such a hard thing to explain to anyone. Yeah, they tend to crawl out of the woodwork every so often. From my experience and a good 30 years of research into all this stuff, there's a diverse spectrum of this type. I classify them all as predators, since their behaviour is predatorial. They are not wired the same way as others, there's a "flatness" even when they blend into society. Many of them are very good at blending. There are many different types. Notably they lack true creativity and self-awareness. They are only able to mirror, copy, adopt and adapt.
LOL, advice of "don't die". I don't know why I find that so hilarious, but I do. I'm going to borrow that one. I love it.
You're a lucky man. My wife's first response would be "How much?", followed by "Where did you get the money from?"
It's an incredible thing of beauty. And the batteries are inside too?
Yeah, is for a big rechargeable battery built in. Probably be a funker to replace it but still. It lasts for ages!!
My music was exactly the same, I had to lie a bit about the cost. Fortunately it's so small she believed me!! :0D
Awesome!!
Cheers man!!
You are welcome!
Wow that amp would be right up my street. Trying to get the 100w Marshall up to the attic broke my back and it closed the door on my hopes and dreams. Maybe this little thing can give me back some of that hope and sound.
It's a really good one. If you weren't after portable though you should get the bigger version as the sounds is a wee bit better on it, the spark 40. I love them both, never played so much since getting it!!

Back in 1990, I had a kick-ass Pioneer stereo with the tower speakers with the deep cones. At high school, we had a "new" electronics course. The teacher was an audiophile and an electronics geek. I can remember him explaining that we don't need those 750W stereo systems if we know what we are doing. He argued that he could likely get a comparable sounding speaker system for under 25 Watts.
We all thought he was absurd. Then ... the Bose cubes came out ... and they sounded fantastic. Then, there was a shift from the cabinet speakers to the in-walls. Then the flat speakers etc etc.
Long story short, he was correct, but a couple of decades ahead of marketing.
Then ... Boom Dawg shows off his 10W box of awesomeness.
We will all wait patiently to hear you wail your riffs throughout the hive!!
Hehe, he was ahead of his time!!
I only heard about Bose sound cubes and all I heard was good things. It really is amazing what they can do with things. I totally expected it to be good but slightly weak in the sounds department but it is indeed site a little powerhouse!
I shall endeavour to break the ears of hive soon 😜
Even that war at home ?? It ended nicely right there ??
I don't know about that.
IT was not the end that is for sure but the rest was dull :OD
Thank you!
How many others do you have? 34 or so... 😀
Lol. I once had many but have been feeling a good job of keeping in top of them. I think I only have another 4!
I forgot how to play the keyboard.. its annoying. I found myself in a derp last week with a working piano. Was longing to play it.. all I remember is a few chords.
Ah that must have been a killer! It is amazing how long these things can stay in tune as well. Or at least reasonably so. Get A keytar and start jamming again! :OD
I have an old Roland keyboard, boxed.. nowhere to put it.., fucking annoying!
The storage that things take up is always a problem. The keys is the one that's made me get rid of lots of stuff and rightly so. We need big mansions!!
5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem
Love the frog in the pillowcase simile 🤣😄
That amp looks class, didn't know they made mini ones like that, is the sound decent out of it?
Aye mate. The sound is magic. It's also a Bluetooth speaker so will be coming with me on trips away as well. No more no music for me!
No shit man, that makes it even better! I want one! The Bluetooth connectivity means I could do away with my cables I connect to phone for Spotify tunes at parties
Hi @meesterboom ,I imagine the good lady's face when you explain what was in the box, obviously because you're too small, but if she sees it in a positive way, which I think so, she has an intelligent man by her side who loves to play the guitar, in one of your posts, I told you that your son would have to look for a teacher to learn to play the guitar, then you tell me that in the past you were in a musical group, so I understand perfectly why you stay at home and the good lady goes for the children, well that's how I see it.
That's the way of it. I hope I can be patient enough to teach the kids myself. So far o haven't had much luck getting them interested!
"the folly of non-guitar players and their silly non fingering finger ways.
It's teeny weeny!!"
Haha, I often think I am channeling my inner Quagmire!! :0D
I love the mini! You have been so scarce, my friend!! I even bought tickets to your performance.
I can tell
My performance shall be giant. They shall talk of it for years to come in the hallowed halls!! :0D
Sweet! Let the shredding commence! Ten watts in that small of a package is impressive.
It sounds bigger than it is, definitely a cool thing!!
Picking up the kids from school or testing out your mini amp? Tough choice.
It is a tough one isnt it!!
Have you been absent, I am sure I haven't seen you in my feed lately!
I was traveling ( visiting The Netherlands ) and am now trying to get back into the grind, while my body and mind merely want to rest. I had a good time but it was quite exhausting.
It can be exhausting when you get back from a jaunt. I hope you chill and get that energy back quick!
No doubt about that. Working on it ( and working on a post )
Have a great day!
You too mate. I am doing apost myself. Perhaps we shall post together in some weird post loop! :OD
Haha! I wouldn't mind being stuck in a posting loop with you. Your storytelling and my art combined would make for amazing creations! ;<)
I think it would! :OD
Phew! Close shave. Had it been you dropped that video of you playing I would have put on my mentally ill glasses and rummage in my mentally ill bag, pull out some abusive stuff and scarred you for life with it. Lucky stars, Boom.

I like staying on the safe side of the street. I am glad we were both spared that! :OD
Well, I'm happy for you 😂
Happy is the best way to be! :OD
