Blackout and Shout Podcast is moving to dtube and Steem!

Blackout and Shout is the official podcast of the daywalker, focusing on geek news, action figure collecting, 3rd party Transformers, photography, digital art, 3D animation and other aspects of the nerd world.

daywalker (noun) (plural daywalkers)
1. Someone who has all the powers of the nerd, but none of the weaknesses.

We host a bi-weekly show that is mostly for entertainment but also provides news and interesting information. Our format is very relaxed and has the feeling as if you were hanging out with some friends talking about all the things you love.

Since the COPPA regulation has started to take effect on YouTube, we have been looking for another place to call home and after some research, we felt that dtube and steem are the places to be. We've never monetized our work, we always felt that ads were always annoying and pressuring. We just don't want to charge people anything for content that should be free.

Welcome to the future !!
You should look at Steem-engine tokens and find a tribe.
The use the tribe in your tags if you want to increase your visibility here on Steem.

Tags like transformers action figures collecting do not do well. I know I collect.

But that is just my 2cents worth. Welcome

Thanks for the info. This is all new to me. I did read up on all the welcome information and FAQ. I need to look into tribes since it wasn't covered in that material. Either that or I missed it.

Tribes are only 9 months old. So most likely were not in the Steem docs.
They are on the Steem-engine side chain.
Go to steem-engine.com and read their FAQ

I run playbypost games under the battle tribe token.

Really? That's pretty awesome. We've been playing an online 5e adventure though FG the past couple of months. We've never taken on any sponsors, because of some conditions in the past, but let me know your site and details and I'll be more than happy to talk about it on the next show.

Since you use video, you might also want to learn about 3speak.online. This video platform charges $10 a month, but has strong values with regard to free speech rights and is integrated with Steem.
