The News

Yes, I am counting down the days to @hivefest. It looks like about 40 people have bought tickets and it may be that some are not paying in $HIVE so they do not show up in that wallet. Even with just those I have seen it will be great. Some of us may be performing live music.

Prices

Despite recent crypto chaos $HIVE is gradually creeping up whilst the 'legacy' coins stagnate. With all the ways you can earn with it I would hope more people would invest. Not everyone can afford to do that, but for those who can it ought to be attractive. If you do not have spare money you can still earn through your content. Build and be part of communities around what interests you.

On Coingecko you can show your confidence in coins. Perhaps give $HIVE and $HBD your support, for what difference it may make. You do not need to log in.

I also check the numbers for peakd visitors as it is the biggest social front end. I know Alexa has shut down, but HypeStat still seems to get numbers that do change. It is not clear where they come from now. Maybe they are just making it up. They continue to show Cuba and El Salvador as the biggest concentration of Hivers, but that seems doubtful. I am sure the various sites monitor their own statistics via Google Analytics or somesuch. Would they make that information public? I am keen to know how we are doing.

  • @deadeagle63 is a Brit into photography and gaming who is pretty new to Hive.
  • @heymattsokol has been here a while, but comes and goes. More engagement might make him stick around with his music and interesting opinions.
  • @drwatson has been on here for years sharing progress with his comic. His site specifically thanks members of our community for their support. Projects like this could be the future of Hive.
  • @epodcaster just celebrated five years on the blockchain. She has been working with @AlessandraWhite on podcasts that talk about Hive.

The End

The UK has a long weekend and I have lots to do. I hope those who do get a break can make the most of it. I have been travelling recently and storing up some experiences to share on Hive. It is always good to have a backlog of potential posts. It is always worth taking a few pictures when you are out and about.

The main thing is to enjoy what you do.

I tend to take a lot more pictures than I used to, and then I forget all about posting.. 😅

I have been talking to a couple of people about the music site. Will see how it goes, but I plan to take a guitar.

I guess a lot of people got their tickets with other stuff as well as they dont want to chunk in a lot of hive while the price is so low. At least that was my way of thinking to went for the good old fiat modus which will not be seen back in the stats

I don't mind paying with $HIVE as it means not touching the bank account. I can earn more by the time the price goes up. See you there for a !BEER

I'm so sorry we're going to be missing it this year. I haven't been since Lisbon in 2017 and we always talk about how much fun the first two 'fests were!

Man, I wish I was able to go. I am going to be thinking that and saying that every time I see a post about this from now on! Good to know that Hive is holding up well. I don't even track those other tokens anymore.

Someone needs to organise something you can get to. There's Splinterfest in Vegas. I would hope some people there will be talking about Hive.

Yeah, it would be cool if they did. I saw that about Vegas, but that is still 4 hours away by plane and Vegas is an expensive town. Plus it is hard to get away at the beginning of the school year. Maybe one day...
