The rescue of the Yellow Prince [EN-ES]

I will never understand those who abandon their pets, it's the same as someone who leaves a family member. I will tell you the story of a new member: Yellow Prince.

Nunca entenderé a los que abandonan a sus mascotas, es lo mismo que alguien que abandona a un miembro de la familia. Les cuento la historia de un nuevo miembro: Príncipe Amarillo.

For about 4 days I have seen a yellow Pekingese puppy hanging around the neighborhood, it is a fairly common breed in the area because it is a residential area of small apartment buildings, where a Pekingese is an optimal dog. On several occasions I saw him on my climbing ladder, but as the days went by he was getting worse and worse.
On the last occasion I saw him injured and bleeding, I really couldn't believe that he had been abandoned, because he is pretty adorable to look at. I thought about it well, because beyond the act of charity and civilization, to assume an animal is to sign a pact of the heart.

Desde hace alrededor de 4 días he visto rondando el vecindario a un perrito pequinés amarillo, por la zona es una raza bastante común, pues es una zona residencial de edificios de apartamentos pequeños, donde un pequinés es un perro óptimo. En varias ocasiones lo ví en mi escalera de subida, pero al pasar los días cada vez en peores condiciones.
En la última ocasión lo ví herido y sangrando, realmente no me podría creer que lo hubiesen abandonado, pues es bastante adorable a la vista. Me lo pensé bien, pues más allá del acto de caridad y civilización, asumir un animal es firmar un pacto de corazón.

I have always had large dogs since childhood, my most recent acquisition was Tachita, a collected puppy descended from a tropicalized Rottweiler because she inherited the colors of the father and the docility of a stray mother. She is not so much a puppy anymore, she is already 5 years old and she is the queen of the house.

Siempre desde pequeño he tenido perros de gran porte, mi más reciente adquisición fue Tachita, una cachorrita recogida descendiente de Rottweiler tropicalizada, pues heredó los colores del padre y la docilidad de una madre sata callejera. Ya no es tan cachorra, ya tiene 5 años y es la reina de la casa.

I have always avoided small dogs because they are very delicate to take care of and are more for companionship than training. The dogs I have had have always been well-trained in obedience and hunting, even one Sondy was awarded at dog shows in obedience.

Siempre he evitado los perros pequeños, pues son muy delicados de cuidar y son más de compañía que de entrenamiento. Los perros que he tenido siempre han sido bien entrenados en obediencia y caza, incluso uno Sondy fue premiado en ferias caninas en obediencia.

I have been impressed by how polite he is, he warns about his needs, and he is docile and adorable. It shows that it's the previous owner, which I still hope will appear and show good excuses and apologies for the abandonment of the excellent animal. But in what happens, he is already in my home and being treated like another member.

Me he quedado impresionado por lo educado que es, avisa por sus necesidades, es dócil y adorable. Demuestra que su anterior dueño, el cual espero todavía que aparezca y muestre buenas causas y disculpas por el abandono del excelente animal. Pero en lo que sucede, ya está en mi hogar y siendo tratado como un miembro más.

Once the family was reunited and the admission agreement was taken, I took on the task of contacting the Canine Love project, as I have no experience in the care and treatment of this breed. Besides I need to treat his wounds properly and deworm him. Luckily we have excellent groups of people who voluntarily help others to make life easier for our pets.

Una vez reunida la familia y tomado el acuerdo de admisión me dí a la tarea de contactar al proyecto Amor Canino, pues no tengo experiencia en el cuidado y tratamiento de esta raza. Además que necesito curarle sus heridas apropiadamente y desparasitarlo. Por suerte tenemos grupos excelentes de personas que de manera voluntaria ayudan a otros a hacerle la vida más fácil a nuestras mascotas.
