Time, Lessons, Experience: Welcome to Humanity.

Someone once said that if cryptocurrency was easy, everyone would have achieved financial freedom, and I agree. However, this is not limited to cryptocurrency; it applies to all aspects of life. There are some situations or even circumstances that you can only master by suffering the consequences of going through them, which is why learning is never easy.

When I was a teacher, I used to see mothers bring their toddlers to school, and these children would scream their lungs out because they did not want to be there. Why? It is a completely new environment, free of their mother and father's familiar gaze and preferential treatment.

They will grow up to deal with class bullies, solve their own problems, and react when no one else is there to do so. Almost all children despised going to school. The same goes for people who have left their homes.

Surviving On Your Own

Leaving home means figuring out how to survive without parental supervision. Most young adults believe that this is beautiful because it allows them to have the luxury of freedom, but they fail to realize that freedom combined with regulation leads to mistakes that may eventually ruin their future.

When it comes to paying bills, most young people quickly learn the harsh realities of life. Paying bills, being homeless, and in need of food all contribute to a sense of reality, and when life happens, most young people become vagabonds and make terrible mistakes.

Another life reality is when people leave college. Before they leave college, it always feels good to leave that phase of their lives behind; however, the concept of freedom is not true when a new environment feels hostile.

It is like an ex-convict leaving prison. They envision the day when they will leave, only to face the hostility of being unemployed due to the stigma of being an ex-convict.

People learn life through various lenses, and if you have never seen life through a specific lens, there is no way you will be able to master what is hidden in what you have not been exposed to; it is that simple.

I have been sick almost my entire life, and as a result, I have learned to appreciate something most people don't: the gift of good health. It is absolutely not free. The gift of good genetics from father or mother to son is considered good inheritance.

I have seen most people say they do not want to pass their disease on to their children, even if it means not having children. I am used to hearing things, including negative things, and to people speaking from their own comfortable experiences, and this is how I have learned. I understand that my learning experience has been more difficult than that of others, or even the majority of people, but there is no law requiring learning to be enjoyable.

However, while some learning experiences are beneficial, the majority of the time we learn through experiences that leave us with salty tastes and feelings, which is why life can be difficult in general. This is exactly why people wish they could learn without making mistakes. Mistakes are mostly incorrectible more than they're correctible.

The mistakes that cannot be corrected leave scars, a reminder of the wrong paths we have taken; however, just because we have learned does not absolve us of the consequences of our actions.

If people can decipher their lives as soon as they become conscious and mature enough, it will be difficult to see them poor, in regret, going through divorces, suffering the consequences of avoidable actions, and having many regrets. I have heard people say they wish they could go back in time and buy BTC, while others wish they had never married a certain person, among other things.

We truly live with regret, knowing that some things are unavoidable

Human actions are powerful and can cause disruptions in the fabric of time and space. While I believe that the universe is vast, I also believe that human actions and inactions have a significant impact on universal balance. A single action can unleash a plague, create viruses, and kill millions of people who could have been doctors, scientists, and other professionals.

Unfortunately, people do not learn unless they participate in the various vicissitudes of life. Despite my numerous rants, I like to think that I am grateful. There are people I like to blame for a lot of things, but I also believe that life can never be perfect; the tendency for things to go wrong is unavoidable, and we can not just make things worse than they already are.

Reading this article just kept giving me goosebumps.

When I was much younger, always thought if I leave school and leave my parents house, I'm going to be free and experience a lot of freedom. Guess what?

That's the opposite, living as a single lady, without my parents is difficult, I get to pay bills, whether I like it or not, and sometimes get calls from home. Calls from home are not free, it comes with billing, most times I can't just express myself to tell them am also facing some financial burdens.

Life is crazy.

I left home early, so I didn't see it as getting freedom, this meant that I already knew that life would be tough when I left and I expected it.
I'm glad that you're paying your bills and seeing how life is. Irrespective of the fact that it's difficult, I think it's a valuable life lesson and it'll eventually make you a stronger person.
Paying bills from family also can be difficult as well, I that that for many years and also other things too.
Inasmuch as it's difficult, and sometimes it's painful it can make you stronger..

one of the places a lot of youths make mistakes is during tertiary studies. The moment you pick the wrong friends, you are already done for. It goes that way to marriage. Thanks for sharing.

That's true. You mentioned two places in life where people cannot afford to make mistakes.

As always, you've hit the nail straight in! The truth is that we all want to be free when we are with our parents or being in a place where we can freely go out as we want.

But the truth is that freedom isn't exactly as simple as we see it. Being free means we have to be responsible for everything we do from our food, clothes, health, and all.

No one would be there to correct us closely, so we'd have to learn the hard way and gather experiences as we move on.

human actions and inactions have a significant impact on universal balance.

This is why our actions matter. Whatever we do as it consequences and some really get stuck on us.

I use to see a lot of GEN-Zs talk about freedom and wanting to leave their parents because they hormones are reacting, unfortunately they get to learn that it's even harder when they're no one to look up to. Freedom is a mirage and the process of getting freedom is often better than the freedom itself, of course, except the freedom that God (the Lord Jesus Christ) gives which is not a physical things.

This generation is now aware, and people are still learning..

Thanks for the comment

Lol... let their hormones teach them well. Smh, freedom, ehn! It's just the one God gives. That one is therapeutic 😌.

They'll learn until they gather as much experience needed to appreciate what they had.

Lift's rough no matter what. Rougher for some than others but we all have our challenges. I liked school once I was in college and could choose the classes I took. It sure beat having to work for a living.... I would gladly go back to the simple life of a student over the hard work of the real world!

How are you feeling these days? Holding up OK?

Well, life in college wasn't easy for me, but it was better than nowadays. I think growing older in general brings more concerns, worry and all that, sometimes the simpler times just seems to be better and all that..

While it’s not easy to have kids - one of the greatest mistakes is not having kids “to not pass on a disease or challenge” to them in many cases. Not all, but many. Children are how the human species continues to exist and we need to do our job to keep that going.

Life is never going to be easy - nor should it be. There are challenges daily and we have to work through them as best we can no matter what. We can’t hide away from it all, eventually it catches up to us and gets worse so it’s best to confront it head on.

Well I caught a nasty genetic disease and it's been chronic and affected my quality of many things I'm life, and I've seen fellow sufferers say they don't want their kids to have it...
If this wasn't the case, the process of procreating is beautiful especially when it's done in the right way.

The grass is always greener on the other side. Life has never been easy, every phase has its own challenges. I guess that's what life is all about.

Life is tough and unless you experience it, it's hard to really understand things. I agree that it's rough when you first starts things off and live off your own. There is so much to learn.

It was tough when I started living on my own, the hardest part was not having anyone to help when I became sick and till today it's always the case and still the same

Some life experiences are unavoidable, especially if we want to learn and understand what or how reality works. It's always a rude awakening when we move from one stage to another with the expectations that life will be easier only for it to become much harder than we anticipate. I also think that life is generally difficult, and we humans can multiply that difficultly by the actions we take, both collectively and individually.

A rude awakening indeed, in reality, I've heard people say life should be easier in the next phase, unfortunately it's not always the case, although sometimes it can be, but learning in most cases is not always comfortable and can be very difficult as well..

I think it can get easier to a certain extent provided we learn the mistakes we've made and decide to do things differently. But this only takes one far until the next phase also brings its own set of challenges :(

Greetings @josediccus ,

What an excellent well-written composition...appreciate reading your thoughts.

When giving it a think, the Principle, 'Freedom demands responsibility.' came to mind...a principle your writing illustrates.

The verse from Psalm 119 would apply as well...'Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.'....How true it is that without God and His revelation to us through His Word....Life is a muddle. ^__^

Wishing you all the best.

The lessons of life are indeed very powerful. And while it's better to learn from the mistakes of others, most people learn from their own mistakes, if they ever do. And that inevitably leaves scars to many.

The mistakes of others doesn't really teach enough lessons, sometimes it's the one we learn that actually matters more

When I was in college I called myself a Realist and my pholosophy was

Life is a bitch and then you die.

But since then I am more optimistic

Some parts of life are a bitch, others are fun, and then you die.

Hopefully , I am never a pessimist.
