AFRI-TUNES WEEK #82 || MOHBAD - PEACE || COVER BY WEALTHWESS
Hello Music lovers, welcome to afritunes week 82. its of great delight for me to make my comeback this week after some weeks away due to some projects i embarked on like i said in the intro of my presentation, wheeew! time really waits for nobody. Anyways i'm glad to be back and for this week on afritune i'd be making a cover of a song by the late mohbad titled peace.
The inspiration behind this song is in two ways, firstly it serves as a tribute to the young legend that left the world so, so early and secondly the song has a message that i really hold dearly because its what most of us are going through in terms of "dealing with frenemies" yes, the late mohbad said he dealt with "frenemies" which i believe to be true because of personal experiences. Sometimes i feel we have more "frenemies" than actual friends, do you agree with me?
Anyways, we can only be prayerful not to fall victim of our "frenemies" because they're everywhere we go. We don't really know the ones that loves us the way we do towards them and thats why i'd advice us all to tread carefully.
Without further ados, lets go into my presentation and although this song is a mixture of both Pidgin and yoruba language, i still hope you'll like it.
