Beauty is overloaded here
If you love nature, then you can find inner peace and unseen healing with the secrets that are ignored by the masses people most of the time as the world is becoming faster with the forgotten natural aspects in this modern lifestyle. I love to spend my leisure time in the lap of nature and Yanqihu Lake, and the mountains surrounding this area of the Huairou district of the Beijing Municipal always attracted me from the very early days when I first came to China in 2019.
After my arrival, I faced the COVID-19 pandemic within 5 months and lived 3 years of quarantine. It was quite impossible for me and other people to move around freely as I do now, but I have explored most of the places surrounding the whole district, which is one of the largest districts with a span of more than 100 km towards the far north of the Beijing Municipal. It would be not an overstatement that I have fallen love with the natural beauty of the Huairous after I have spent several years in Dhaka City of Bangladesh, which is one of the top cities with the most air pollution that places in top in the world and remains at top 5 throughout the year.
I have visited the Yanqihu Lake area many times, and I go very often when I get some scope. The beauty in various seasons is so attractive here. Though I have come to the walking area several times during the summer and fall seasons, traveling in the winter is not so easy in this area as most of the time, I come here during my cycling session. And it is terrible to come to this location during the frozen winter.
Also, my previous winter visits were not good most of the time, as the weather didn't support a lot of exploring the amazing beauty. This place is just by the mountains and the lake, which was like disappearing in the fog most of the time. Also, Beijing's weather was not as good as it looks in these photos I took recently in mid-November.
In my earlier experiences, I have seen very few days were such sunny days with crystal clear skies and excellent air quality. It offers a great far sight of the mountain range that make the picturesque views from the damn by the lake. The colors of the water, faded mountains, and the blue sky have overcome the harsh winter's harsh surroundings that can soothe your heart to the fullest.
Though the cold wind was there, the level of cold was not freezing in the mid of November, which was going to be freeing at the end of the month. As of now, it has fallen to negative ranges at night. The fresh air with pure oxygen can refresh your lungs and make you much more comfortable in the excellent atmosphere.
I hope you like my photos of the beautiful European-style town of Huairou City. It was an amazing experience to travel to such an attractive place, to discover architectural beauty and enjoy natural scenic views, and to enjoy my Beijing life!
If you have any opinions or thoughts let me know in the comments. Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a nice day!
