Quiero contarles que no soy un fotógrafo profesional, pero, me encanta guardar momentos y poder compartirlos. La ciudad de Buenos Aires, conocida por su agitada vida diurna, toma otro color bajo la luz de las estrellas. En este set de fotografía nocturna, trataré de llevarte por un recorrido visual por algunos de los rincones más icónicos y escondidos de la capital, capturando su esencia en la oscuridad. Este proyecto no solo busca mostrar la belleza nocturna de la ciudad, sino también explorar cómo la luz y la sombra interactúan en un espacio urbano. Espero poder transmitir con estas imágenes, lo que mis ojos, vieron en ese momento.

I want to share that I’m not a professional photographer, but I love capturing moments and sharing them. The city of Buenos Aires, known for its bustling daytime life, takes on a different hue under the starlight. In this set of nighttime photography, I'll try to take you on a visual journey through some of the most iconic and hidden corners of the capital, capturing its essence in the darkness. This project not only aims to showcase the city's nocturnal beauty but also to explore how light and shadow interact in an urban space. I hope to convey through these images what my eyes saw at that moment.

Comencé mi recorrido por los lugares más emblemáticos de Buenos Aires. El Obelisco, imponente y solitario en medio de la Avenida 9 de Julio, se transforma en un faro urbano.

I began my journey through the most iconic places in Buenos Aires. The Obelisk, imposing and solitary in the middle of Avenida 9 de Julio, transforms into an urban beacon.

Una pareja de bailarines, danzan en el medio de la fuente de la plaza Lavalle . Encarnando un sentimiento, que transmiten a través de sus miradas, deteniendo el tiempo con un suspiro de amor. Mientras son observados por el majestuoso Teatro Colón que brilla con todas sus luces.

A couple of dancers move gracefully in the middle of the fountain at Plaza Lavalle, embodying a feeling that they convey through their gazes, freezing time with a sigh of love. They are observed by the majestic Teatro Colón, shining brightly with all its lights.

Este edificio hibrido, que se encuentra, en frente del Teatro Colón me llamo mucho mi atención. Porque devela tanta historia, a través de su arquitectura. Y me preguntaba ¿cuántas generaciones pasaron por allí?...

This hybrid building, located in front of the Teatro Colón, caught my attention because it reveals so much history through its architecture. And I wondered, how many generations have passed through here?...

Puerto Madero, es un carnaval de luces y el Puente de la Mujer, refleja una postal viviente. Contemplar el movimiento del río en la noche y ver como las luces de colores se reflejan en él. Es como contemplar la creación del universo algo más allá de nuestros cinco sentidos.

Puerto Madero is a carnival of lights, and the Puente de la Mujer reflects a living postcard. Watching the movement of the river at night and seeing how the colorful lights reflect on it is like witnessing the creation of the universe, something beyond our five senses.

Sobre este árbol de luces voy a hablar desde mi percepción. Esta ubicado frente a la cancha de River y yo soy de Boca!...jaja (esto presenta un antagonismo),pero, no voy a hablar sobre antagonismos entre equipos de futbol. Sino, sobre el antagonismo, entre la naturaleza y el avance urbano dejándolo cómo un interrogante, a la mirada del lector, nada más. Como obra artística me parece espectacular y la disfrute mucho, cuando la visite.

I will discuss this tree of lights from my perspective. It is located in front of the River Plate stadium, and I’m a Boca fan!... haha (this presents a form of antagonism), but I won’t be talking about antagonisms between football teams. Instead, I will focus on the antagonism between nature and urban development, leaving it as a question for the reader to ponder. As an artistic piece, I find it spectacular and enjoyed it a lot when I visited.
