Walking around Red Rock Canyon

One of the main attractions of Waterton Park is Red Rock Canyon. During our recent trip to the park, we had an opportunity to visit this place. It did not disappoint. The canyon itself is actually not that large, you can easily circle the canyon via a neatly built trail, complete with walking bridges. Highly recommended if you ever find yourself in the area. If you have kids along, they will have a blast! Here are a few of the pictures from that trip:

It's a very good hiking area if you ask me. I think it's quite large too, although maybe it's just from the picture. There are also a lot of people too

I wonder what substance the red rock actually is. It seems to be a result of water flowing. Maybe something in the river did something to it?

Not sure, but it is not very common. Very unique. Radium has something somewhat similar.
