Numa Falls

IMG_20240920_104444_Original.jpeg

This is Numa Falls, part of our impromptu stop along the 93 south highway, on the way back home from Radium springs, British Columbia. Wow, these falls were really spectacular! There is a bridge crossing the river, which gives you a perfect view of either side. The fast rushing water let off a slight mist of water droplets which you could feel, which made you part of the experience in a sense. The Kootenay river is the chosen one, that gets to fall through these rocks, and display all this marvellous nature for us to behold. Just over the bridge is the trailhead for Floe Lake, a 17 kilometres hike to an outstanding lake with heavenly views, but probably a bit too difficult for my skill level. Maybe someday..Thanks for stopping by.

pristine crystal clear water and great landscapes there, very freezing now though

The landscape would look much different now, it would be totally frozen over.

That is so lovely, the muted but yet sharp contrasts in color, and also the river of diamonds in pictures of obsidian and silver and white light...

It indeed was a lovely pit stop on the way back home that day. Thanks for looking.

Did you get any more answers to that account creation dilemma?

The people who need to look into it, being in the top witnesses, have seen it ... either they are going to get to the bottom of it or they are not. One is just getting back home from traveling, and another is sick. Two are staying quiet ... but I know them ... they see. I'm a professional journalist by vocation. I know how to get people's attention. Now what they do is up to them. Hive's credibility is on the line. Either they are going to protect their own interest in that, or not.

Good work on that, if we are funding these projects, we need accountability (obviously).

Yep .. 24OK HBD, AND a problem with inflated user numbers to boot. The latter concerns me much more because Hive is coming into the public eye ... we do not need a black eye over some foolishness.

Ohhh.... this is definitely a heavenly view. For one minute it was surprising how you captured the first photo. While reading I got to know about the presence of the bridge. I could feel the gushing of water in full force, beaides the pure water and the nature surrounding it makes it so remarkable.

17km hike maybe it can be done in two days. I am not that fit to do it a day I think 🤔

I would say what makes this waterfall very special is the angle you've taken these pictures from. That's such an astonishing waterfall wow.
