Bird’s Eye View
(Edited)
So here we are, about half way up the Plain of six glaciers hiking trail. What a view!! I did publish similar views with my smartphone some months back, but of course the DSLR photos are much more detailed (obviously). Typically when on the trail I capture both smartphone and camera pics simultaneously. It is just so easy to pull out that phone and fire away, so I do. Then I post the pics shortly thereafter, because it is easy to do so. Then after exhausting my smartphone camera roll, the real adventure begins with the higher quality DSLR pics which take more time and effort to roll out properly. This is just my workflow process. Hope you enjoyed today’s pics from a “Bird’s Eye View”, high up on the mountainside, just above Lake Louise. It really was a fantastic hiking adventure, and thanks for coming along.

Very extraordinary, the place is amazing, of course with DSLR it is even more perfect, because it is specifically made for taking photos.
Yes, plenty more photographs to come. Thanks.

Awesome photo graphs, a Cr 450 would like those ripples in that big mountain, a little off camber , but we don't sweat that
This requires special hardware:
I agree awesome.
Beautiful work.
Thanks for looking.
Yes indeed you take a good shot even though you used smart phone in taking it. As other say in taking pictures you don't need a quality camera but you need a talented camera guy that take a picture..🤗Greetings
Thanks for the comment @john0928.
You are welcome @daveks , its nice meeting you here..
@daveks A beautiful landscape, I really liked the last image, both in its color version and its black and white version (I can't hide that I am a great lover of black and white in photography).
I definitely agree with you when you say that using the camera helps us to achieve better results. Although the truth the best of all is to be able to use it and also use our smart phone in case we need it. Regards, hope you are well.
Glad to hear you are a fellow appreciater of black and white photography. Thanks for the visit.
@daveks Excellent work, seeing it was a pleasure .
Since I started taking photographs about 7 years ago I felt a strong inclination towards black and white. Most of my work today is like this including all the works I have exhibited.
Greetings .

It sure is the bird eye view, spectacular my friend and you captured it.
Thanks @shoemanchu.
I will always be pleased by so many natural beauties that you my friend @daveks show us from Canada. I wish you a happy and successful year 2024. Thank you for your visits to my publications.
2024 will be a great year, but probably with a few bumps along the way. Have a good weekend!
Hopefully we can overcome the bumps in the road you say @daveks so that by 2024 we can overcome them sarisfactorily. We will be able to overcome them with effort. Success

It was a nice outing with you @daveks and I hope we would do this again pretty soon.
I have a mandate now!
Yes you do 😊
Smartphones are easier to go with and that's why it's like a handy tool when it comes to taking pictures on the go. It's more preferable for me.
Handy and not having worry about a more expensive (and heavy) piece of equipment.
It's just amazing looking at that gorge and knowing it was all a big glacier that ripped into the earth. Pretty cool!
Great shots, such a pretty place, if I make it up there sometime soon it's on the to do list!
Yes, add that to the bucket list. It deserves a place there.
I like the last photo in color and black&white. In the color photo, I can see a lake at that gorge, but in the black&white photo, it looks like there was an avalanche. ;-)
Same lake as previous post, just a lot higher up! Thanks for looking @euggud.
