Around Cameron

(Edited)

Here around the Canadian Rockies, there are hundreds of lakes. Cameron Lake is one of them. A beautiful smaller to medium sized lake. This was our first time out here, and certainly won’t be the last. The weather was hot, very hot actually (at least for a Canadian like me). Temperatures were hovering around 30°C, gettting close to that point where swimming may have been the better option over hiking. The problem with swimming though, for a photographer like me, is that I would have to leave my camera behind. That’s not going to happen.

Extraordinary landscape as you represent the Canadian Rocky Mountains, with its hundreds of lakes, being Lake Cameroon one of them and it is very beautiful as you show it. You always present beautiful photos of your beloved Canada, I congratulate you, I wish you success and thank you for your positive evaluations of my publications. How long was the hike? And where is this located in the Rockies?

Relatively short, under an hour. This is located about 20 minutes by car from the Waterton townsite.

Really nice photos!
Is it safe to swim in your lakes? I can see something unidentified swimming beneath the surface in one of your photos!

For sure. No alligators or anything like that!

That mountain must be an amazing site when covered with pines, too bad they burned! Beautiful shots of the lake. The bugs were an interesting departure for you, some kind of a wasp maybe, the other I have no idea.

Beautiful as always!

Any and every flower or plant, seemed to have insects/bugs on them. Tolerable but annoying. I would do it again in a heartbeat anyways.

The sky is blue, pale white and the beautiful scenery is absolutely mind-blowing. The sparkle of the sky mixed with the sea makes the usual pictures feel more extraordinary. Thank you very much for presenting these wonderful photographs to us.

Great shots here too, love the one with the Hummingbird Moth, I actually got many shots of these out on my vacation, on flowers and in flight, the wings look insane, like a butterfly.
