A River Runs through It

IMG_20240920_104850_Original.jpeg

No shortage of cool images from the Kootenay river, as it runs through and over Numa Falls, then under the bridge and southward. I wonder how many hundreds of years or more, the river has been flowing through these rocks? Such a unique water colour as well, likely the result of glacial rock powder, gathered up as the water flows. I wonder if @rt395 may have an idea, as he is an expert on rocks and gems. Photos taken near Numa Falls, Kootenay Park, British Columbia, Canada.

I think the River could easily have been running for many decades and all, and it's so interesting to find out how how some of these rivers are. The color of the flow is amazing. Did you do any augmentations to the color of the water?

A little bit yes, I will need to compare it to how the dslr photos came out. Looking forward to that.

All is well I'm just stretched in so many directions recently I'm struggling to make time to do things for myself, like post and vlogging. But all good :)

The boat is frozen in at the moment so at least that gives me time to pause and shelf a few things. Should be able to move soon hopefully.
