A Minute in Banff

Last Summer, we did a lot of activities around Kootenay Park, Kananaskis, and Banff Park. Mostly Kootenay though. There had been a fair bit of forest fire activity in the Banff area, so the skies did have a smokiness to them. In fact the black and whites look better because of that. Didn’t end up doing to much in the townsite, other than to walk around the Bow river and mosey around somewhat. Did some touristy things. I guess collectively, we were a bit fatigued from the previous days of adventure. After the walk around we did a bit of shopping, had some ice cream and coffee, then called it a day. Probably the shortest Banff excursion we have ever done. A Minute in Banff it was.

A minute in Banff.

Could have used clearer skies on that day, but it was still a worthwhile adventure. Thanks.

A calm river accompanied by fresh trees, in the distance you can see very beautiful mountains and a blue sky decorated with wisps of white clouds, really a very beautiful view.

What's causing these Forest fires in these area? Isn't it dangerous to the people around this area?

Some have trouble breathing, myself, it doesn't bother me to much. It seems the fire activity stems from ultra dry and hot weather.

Oh, I get it. Hot seasons are actually big triggers, especially where there are dry figs and trees
