Hello everyone, very good morning. Today I want to talk about a very special subject that deserved my attention, and of course, to be photographed. That space that surrounds us, that embraces us daily with its chiaroscuro shades, and that we know as the sky. Our great ceiling, the gaseous zone of the atmosphere, in meteorological terms, but also, in a spiritual sense, a divine place where our ancestors rest, where we feel God, and we know our angels are.

Photographing the sky can be a recreational exercise because we will never get the same content, and it is interesting to compare each image and its color degradation. The constant movement of the clouds, and the natural phenomena that occur, change their tonality from a soft blue to an intense one, even gray and black.

Natural phenomena such as sunrise, sunset, fog, rainy weather, day and night, rain, lightning and even a beautiful rainbow, are the various events that embrace the sky, and that I have been given the task of capturing with my lens.

Hola a todos, muy buenos días. Hoy quiero hablar de un tema muy especial que merecía mi atención, y por supuesto, ser fotografiado. Ese espacio que nos rodea, que diariamente nos abraza con sus matices claroscuros, y que conocemos como el cielo. Nuestro gran techo, la zona gaseosa de la atmosfera, en términos meteorológicos, pero también, en sentido espiritual, un lugar divino donde reposan nuestros ancestros, donde sentimos a Dios, y sabemos que están nuestros ángeles.

Pero en un sentido físico, visual y literal, el cielo es lo más amplio que nos cubre, es el todo, el sitio donde brilla el sol, y se oculta al final del día para dar paso a la Luna. Se podría decir que fotografiar el cielo puede ser un ejercicio recreativo porque nunca obtendremos una imagen ni remotamente semejante, y resulta interesante comparar cada una y admirar su degradación de colores. El constante movimiento de las nubes, y los fenómenos naturales que se presentan, cambian su tonalidad de un azul suave a uno intenso, incluso gris y negro.

Fenómenos naturales como el amanecer, el atardecer, la neblina, el mal tiempo, el día y la noche, la lluvia, los relámpagos y hasta un hermoso arcoíris, son los diversos sucesos que abrazan al cielo, y que me he dado a la tarea de capturar con mi lente.

In this first group of photographs that I share with you, I managed to capture moments where the minutes that elapse between darkness and dawn, the sky is painted in an immense range of blues. For me it was surprising to compare one image with another since some of them only had a fraction of seconds and the tone of the sky was totally different.

Some images even looked dark, others mysterious, the sky had an intimidating depth. It was a very valuable natural lighting job, and I was pleased with the result. It's fascinating what can be achieved in a photograph that is not really what is reflected in physicality. I love this practice.

En este primer grupo de fotografías que les comparto, logré capturar momentos en donde los minutos que transcurren entre la oscuridad y el amanecer, se pinta el cielo de una inmensa gama de azules. Para mí fue sorprendente comparar una imagen con otra ya que algunas sólo tuvieron una fracción de segundos y el tono del firmamento era totalmente distinto.

Algunas imágenes hasta se veían tenebrosas, otras misteriosas, el cielo tenía una profundidad intimidante. Fue un trabajo de iluminación natural muy valioso, y el resultado me agradó. Es fascinante lo que se puede lograr en una fotografía que no es realmente lo que se refleja en físico. Amo esta práctica.

De esta manera entre fotos que reflejan los distintos tonos azules del cielo, finalizó mi ejercicio # 7.
