Glowing Without the Gimmicks

✨"When I initially became curious about skincare, I searched the internet for a straight and simple formula I could use. I wanted to get three or four products max. But I kept coming across videos where girls would whip out baskets of products; I didn’t want that." @zitalove

Not Pick Me, Just Fit Me

✨"Have I ever been tempted by those advertisements? Honestly, yes. I've tried package A for acne, package B for brightening, etc. What did I get? I was exhausted because those products don't always work for our skin. " @titisnariyah

Peaceful Living

✨"The quietness and peace were traded for development in the neighborhood, which makes no sense, but it's beyond me to maintain the things I love about my environment before the development came. We have more people, more problems, especially with noise, and there is this temptation to relocate sometimes, but for how long will I have to move around because in this part of the world, development changes the order of things?" @george-dee

Inexpert Skincare

✨"All in all, I keep it simple. We all should when it comes to such products. These aren't necessities, they only enhance our experience and results. The true priority should be health and wellness; starting with diet and exercise." @riz611

Finding Calm in Everyday Simplicity

image.png

✨"Crocheting is another calm way for me to reduce my screen time. The soothing rhythm of the process allows me to find peace in creativity, helping me slow down to create a piece of art. I enjoy it even more with some music or while reading books." @lizizoo

Water and Peace of Mind

✨"I don't fuss or stress over my skin. I don't spend hours looking in the mirror, trying to find issues with my skin. I don't worry that I might be getting darker or that my skin looks different. I just sort of let things be. And I have been learning to stress less, worry less, and just breathe calmly, which is good for me. I think when your mind is at peace, your skin and body would be at peace too." @terjix

My skin, my way: Embracing Minimalism

image.png

✨"I started seeing changes in my face. In the aspect of the spots that were making houses on my face, they started to go little by little until I could no longer see them again. With the spots gone, I also started getting my complexion back.
At the end of the day, I realized that I didn't need to buy so many products for my face and body; just a few things were what I needed." @alexandria12

Am I a skincare minimalist?

image.png

✨"Yes, I think I am a minimalist when it comes to skincare. In fact, I very rarely use skincare. However, that doesn't mean I don't have any skincare products at all. Of course I have some, it's just that I rarely use them especially in the last few months. " @devyswan1

A Little Care, A Beauty Skin: Content Over Quality

image.png

✨"The body soap I use is also a DIY product, combining turmeric and black soap. Mum made them and they do not only make my skin look better, it also brings this calm feeling whenever I use it. The soap since it's a diy is not well packaged or look good but believe me, it's everything my skin needs for a good feel." @merit.ahama

A Simple and Clear Skin

image.png

✨"When it comes to my body, I have a very dry skin and most times this could cause breakouts for me. I have come to understand the kind of skin I have so I try to maintain it without doing too much. Knowing that I have very dry skin, I stick to my body oil and also vaseline. These two have helped to maintain my skin and keep it away from breakouts." @beeeee

Some additional tips

🔸 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.

🔸 If possible we recommend that authors try to use original photos taken by you. Photos count toward the possibility of your post being curated.

🔸 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you to structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.

🔸 The presentation of your blog goes a long way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.

🔸 You do not need to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle at any time.
