Rihanna: The Queen Who Dominated the Music World
Good afternoon everyone, today I have the pleasure of writing to you about one of my music muses, I am talking about Robyn Rihanna Fenty but we know her as Rihanna.
So we started
At home, problems were the order of the day because her mother suffered in silence and her father was lost in a world full of prohibited substances. Along with this, little Rihanna suffered terrible headaches that fortunately disappeared after her parents' divorce. With all that, reggae music was not only the way out for her but a clue that destiny left her so that she knew what she was going to be in the future.
Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Saint Michael, Barbados on February 20, 1988, surrounded by a large Caribbean port. She spent the first years of her life in a small house with her parents and two brothers. Within that home, the environment was not at all good because of the countless personal problems of substance abuse by her father and family fights were a constant day to day. From there, a series of pains in her head arose. At only eight years old, many doctors came to believe that it was a serious illness, but that did not seem to matter to her parents because she had to continue selling clothes in a market in her community.
However, due to the separation of her parents, her environment changed and with it her discomfort also changed. These experiences led her to take refuge in reggae music and as a teenager she formed a small group with two friends from her class who always supported her while the others bullied her due to her physical features.
The trio managed to audition for one of New York's most well-known composers and record producers, Evan Rogers, who was on vacation in Barbados. Evans' attention was focused directly on Rihanna, as at first glance he observed her presence on stage and heard in her an unmatched voice. She was barely 15 years old when she performed songs from 'Destiny's Child' in front of Rogers. The Caribbean native left her place of origin behind to go to Connery Court and begin recording her first demo in the studio, which consisted of four songs. In 2005, her first music album was released.
