Three Tune Tuesday - November
Hello, music lovers! ๐ต
It's a Tuesday, so it's time for #threetunetuesday and a chance to share something I'm listening to.
We are deep into autumn, which is a time when nature changes, especially in November. Everything turns yellow, red, gold, and finally brown, and in the end, there is only white silence and a new beginning.
November evokes mostly melancholic feelings in me. I wonder about the meaning and the lost opportunities. The weight of it all is eating away at my insides. I must admit, it's quite painful sometimes.
But that's why I have music here: to relieve my self-questioning, nostalgia, and thoughts about a future that (in theory) should be bright, beautiful, and rosy.
Today, for #ttt, I have chosen some November songs to help me get over these frustrations and to remind you of autumn :)
For those not (yet) familiar with #threetunetuesday or #ttt - these are tags you need to set when you post.
It's a music initiative started by @ablaze, and with his words, the jist is as follows:
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs that I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the reward.
Guns N' Roses - November Rain
One of the band's best-known songs, it was released as the third single from 1991's Use Your Illusion I.
It is a ballad about love, loss, and pain.
Mari Samuelsen โ Max Richter: November
Mari Samuelsen is a world-class violinist and performs Max Richter's famous November from the 2002 album Memoryhouse with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
This very introspective and minimalist song is very emotional in her performance.
Patrick Reza - November
Patrick Reza is a singer, producer, and DJ who specializes in dance music. Here is his version of November.
And a bonus, as usual.
Tom Waits - November
Tom Waits is a master of melody, melancholy, and delusional rhymes. The song is dark and creates a nostalgic and mysterious atmosphere. It was released on the 1993 album The Black Rider.
Thank you for your attention. I hope you are satisfied with November's dose of melancholy :)
This is my 61st post for #threetunetuesday, which @ablaze started. I hope what I'm sharing is enjoyable for others, too, because then it makes sense.

I know only November Rain (obviously) but I always appreciate your wide range of music taste in your TTTs
The November Rain is the most well-known and famous of these songs.
Stick your spoon in the wall
And we'll slaughter them all
November has tied me to an old dead tree
Get word to April to rescue me
It's still a long time until April. So I have to be careful with my knife and fork.๐ฎ๐ Tom Waits is in a class of his own.
You really surprised me with Max Richter. Congratulations on the selection.
Guns n' Roses with "classic" tom-tom mixed in. Who needs that? The original is enough for me.
Well, yeah. I have chosen different genres to highlight the differences in November. Tom Waits, with his morbidity, wins anyway.
The only group I'm familiar with is Guns N' Roses. November Rain to me was one of the more sensible tunes I could understand.
Thanks for sharing. Take care.
