Fatherhood.

I got to appreciate you more even in death
The mere reality of me being a father too
Gave me the perfect view of the pressure you handled when you were alive
Living in reality opens one's eyes to better understanding of past events
And gives hope because others got through it, you can too
I remember it all, every memory of you and even your passing
Your hands were so strong that you held us and we didn't fall
Your arms were firm and you made us walk tall
It's 18 years already dad...what a father you were
How you shouldered everything and you didn't even crack
Never did you show any sign of weakness or tiredness
How you did it all without breaking should be studied
I know I have that in me because a lion can't birth a chicken
For God's grace that He gave you, we didn't stall
Even today, we are fine and I still love to kick the ball
You have missed so many fun parts in our lives
Just like I have missed you giving us the high fives
I remember it all...still fresh in memory like yesterday
The day of your passing...the word stood still in disbelief
And I still remember my screams till day
The tears stemming down everyone's face
With every drop making and forming it's trace
I was being consoled with everyone's embrace
But it was nothing compared to yours
So daddy, I miss having you around
I am going to tell you more about it when I see you again...many many years to come
Even though I know you are watching...

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

18 years and you still miss him, my father died when I was little, maybe that's the reason I miss my mother more, but as I told you before, we learn to live with this, but we never forget.
A hug

We never forget my brother. So sorry about your dad and I know you can never forget the memory of your mother as well. Thank you, my friend.

Fatherhood is a whole lot of responsibility than most people can understand. You always want to stay on top of things and try to do what's necessary to keep the family together. The pressure hits differently and words can't express it and that is where you see some nonentities talking about billing when they have never had to work for anything in their lives by shabby thinking that men should have certain level of money to spoil them with.

Sorry about your dad. His absence must have made you stronger.

Thank you very much. It hits differently and the pressure is not something you prepare for not understand until it's your turn. Made me even appreciate my father and every father more.

Thank you very much.

You are right. We don't understand things back then until we got adulthood and got a full grasp of what responsibility is about and how to manage it.

18 years looking like yesterday. You must have really. "You have missed so many fun parts in our lives
Just like I have missed you giving us the high fives" you must have really had a very great moment with him and you must have really missed him

He missed so many moments and I wish I can discuss it all with him or at least, wish he was there to witness them himself. Thank you.

Hmmm I can actually understand. He must have really hold a very special place in your life and will definitely be hard to replace him. Those great moments have a special place in your life and will continue to live on for many years to come also actually. He is proud of who you are right now

What a beautiful tribute to your dad, I'm sure he is super proud of the man you are today, as long as you keep his memories in your heart he's not completely gone, reading this is amazing for all of us ♥

He's surely not completely gone because he forever lives in my heart and his memory never fades. Thank you very much, my friend.

Sure thing brother, I have always thought that while people who have departed this earthly plane while that person is in your memories and in your heart is not completely gone, plus reminding her how wonderful her grandfather was certainly must be very special ♥

Fatherhood is really a special feeling that not every man is capable of been in that fatherhood stage. I am so sure that wherever he is right now, he is super proud of who you have actually become and he is smiling for who you are gradually becoming every blessed day

It is a fact that when we are older, we know how parents do everything for their children, especially fathers who tell their children how to do things. will have to live in this world and how many difficulties will be faced by people who understand the words of their father, then life becomes easier for them. After that, life is sad.
