A Generic 'Trip Report'

A generic trip photo taken by me

When our benevolent sponsor sent us on a trip to relax on the beach— it felt like a perfectly doable idea. The idea remained afloat for a while, mostly before the journey commenced. When we almost missed the bus as our ferocious leader @zayedsakib mistook the bus schedule, and we were on the run with the heavy bags on the busy road of Arambagh, the idea of a relaxing weekend started to dwindle. It would still be alive till we reach our destination, or so I thought, then came @surrealfia, like Kalboshekhi, barging into the bus door, declaring her arrival in a boisterous outcry. The monotonous snore-engulfed bus suddenly became a battlefield. I thought to myself—how do 11 people relax together? What was I thinking!? The relaxing tour became more like an adventure. Is that bad? Not really.

Yet every single one of our not-so-little-band tried to find their solace in their own way (@sarashew, @drivingindevon and @annabeth are prime examples but not the only ones). They wandered around, often in two or three, sometimes alone, roaming the sandy beach, restlessly—perhaps on a quest to find some long-lost proverbial trinkets that eluded them. I don't know whether they have found what they were looking for—But I had a glimpse of serenity the day I reached there. For the first time I went to the sea on this trip, I was tasked to bring @chrysanthemum with me, we were to go on a liquor hunt, but extremely tired, he was fast asleep. I looked at the sea and felt the cool breeze touching me, invitingly. I didn't need any Nishir Daak to answer that call. At that moment, I was entwined with the sea, I was not a tourist, but rather an estranged friend. A reunited lost son. During the rest of my stay, I failed to attain that intimacy with the sea like that again, I was just another visitor to her mighty vastness. I can only hope the sea forgave my insolence, as she always does—for I will be there again before long.

Someone shoved a crown of flowers on my head at one point, I don't remember who it was (Fia most likely) and before leaving the beach, I offered that crown to the sea. She refused. I tried again and was refused again. Tossed back the crown to the shore every time. Was that her way of showing displeasure?
Unlike me, somebody else was in sync with the sea in their own way, I suspect. @r-nyn's
vagabondish footsteps were a sight to admire.

For a short while though, everyone was forced to relax on the Chander Gari. Stuffed with tasty meals from Palongki and surprisingly large coconut water from Teknaf they could do without but gorged on anyway—everyone dozed on the return trip. The chaotic energy the group had on the way to Teknaf took a nap itself. I looked at the faces, tired, yes, yet calm and satisfied. Perhaps the goal was attained a bit then.

@riz611 played the pivotal role in making this trip adventurous—he strikes me as a living breathing energy source—powering the surroundings. In retrospect, @rafa-noor stealing the flowers ornamenting herself (the signs begged her not to), @minhajulmredol always searching for places to pose as a model, and @sarashew stealing my butter-nan are part of that adventurous buoyancy. Sara can have all the naans, by the way. I hereby absolve her sins.

The people I interact with daily, getting to know them better had its own charm of course. @chrysanthemum's nonchalant gait stayed with me. He probably doesn't know this but I observed his movement with enormous curiosity.

That night when we all sat beside the fire, and talked about ourselves, our first impressions of each other and the confessions—the whole thing reminded me of The Decamerone.

Something else was a source of some relaxation for me, more than the sea, more than the green—I miss the walks along the mermaid's internal tiny roads at night—lighted in a gayish manner, as if it's a BTV set, yet surprisingly homely. However, something is telling me from deep down, that it had nothing to do with mermaid or their decoration—rather that particular time, that atmosphere, and that state of mind that shaped it that way for me. Only for me.

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

I agree. The first and last days are mostly packing and unpacking. They key is to become bored enough to feel at home there.

5-7 days is what I recommend, and no going from place to place

no going from place to place

I had a feeling that this is exactly what dada meant when he said no "moddhobitto activities", I too like and prefer such laid back "vacays".

But this being "in a hurry" situation, from the start to the end surely was a challenge, and that is exactly what helped us build the relationship we all have right now.

I say it's MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

There is always a start, and this is a good start.........

It is not always what the community can do for you, but what YOU can do for the community.

Reazul always said one thing; which I like a lot and I consider it to be one of the core values of BDC. That is you can contribute to the community in two ways, 1. with money, and 2. with time. If you can't do either, you are useless. If you can do either of the two, you are doing a community service.

Getting the hang of it all dada. Still taking it slow for now, don't wanna rush things, rushing might just make things worse. But I am slowly "getting the gist" of things around here, long way to go still.

Just look around, it is obvious who is doing the community service among your peers. It is very clear what they will do in their respective cases. If they stay the course, they will be very successful in life.

It actually is quite obvious, it's all quite "transparent" too, we all know who's behind what and who's actually putting in the work.

Whoever is in it for the long haul, will surely see the many faces of success, rather sooner than later.

You're just too kind bhai.

I actually thought I was the boring one, dozing off every now and then, mostly on the sidelines, watching from a distance, while I pet all the stray cats and dogs haha.

Boring? Not at all! Without you, on the other hand, it would be boring! You were never in the sideline man and you petting the cats and dogs were part of our trip as well. Ask anyone, they'd say the same!

Glad to hear that my role was somewhat "crucial" when it came to all the fun and shenanigans haha. 🥃

Oh, How entertaining a trip can be! Unique and entertaining characters each and everyone mentioned here or went on the trip. I would love to say this, nothing else.

then came @surrealfia, like Kalboshekhi

finally... some recognition... I thank you Amornath

Someone shoved a crown of flowers on my head at one point, I don't remember who it was (Fia most likely) and before leaving the beach, I offered that crown to the sea.

Of course, it was me... I gave you mine - it looked prettier on you... but you shouldn't have offered the crown to the sea... it was a gift to you and that's why the sea was displeased.

Awww... thank you for giving me your crown but you should have kept your own too and buy me another, you know.

Amor bhai, you wrote it pretty nicely. I'm even trying to come up with something about the trip.

I can clearly remember you sitting next to me, calling again and again; but I was like ''কুম্ভকর্ন' at that time. Ha ha ha! But it was amazing!.

We all know you about your observations; but you noticed my "গদাইলশকরি চাল" and "ক্যালাস ঘুরাফিরা". That's amazing...

I fully enjoyed the days though they were small and busy at the same time.

Best wishes folks!

It was understandable, we were all quite tired!

Yeah it was fun, the whole trip. A bit different than we anticipated but fun nonetheless.

So, where is that Baabez Hunting part, huh? Well, we can skip that part as I am sensing that we have found the ultimate Baabez Package, so, yeah— don't let it bother you. :P

But I must confess the whole thing was too quick, only if I could save time in a bottle— I would've made a portal, looping it again and again only to spend a few more moments with you, in that desolate, tranquillity-infested seashore.

In all fairness, babez hunting was exclusive to you and Riz bro, I didn't want to intrude :P

PS - What is the ultimate babez package?

@minhajulmredol always searching for places to pose as a model

Hehehe, I wanted a DP badly so that I can rest for a year. Btw that quest is successful.😁

They kinda reminded me of my home when my grandpa was alive and we had an ekkanoborti family. We had roads like that on our yard.
