Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Although it's not yet officially Caturday, it seemed like an update was in order, because so much was going on in the house, today... what's a cat to think?

Why have you moved my house???

It all began fairly early this morning, when the Dad-Hooman started moving things around in the "Office Space" where I like to hang out, and where all my cat condos are located.

And then he brought out the dreaded vacuum cleaner!

Don't bring that thing near me!

"We have to get all the loose dust and cat hair removed, Shadow!" he said, "someone is coming from the cable company to upgrade our Internet and install a phone line!

Next thing I know, everything was being moved around, and it was not at all as I like it!

Even my favorite bed had been moved!

That box doesn't belong here! That's MY spot!

Sure enough, then a stranger came into our space, so I went and sought refuge in the closet, behind the boxes. It was very disturbing!

This person did a bunch of things with wires, and made a bunch of phone calls, unplugging things and plugging other things in. I watched... from behind the boxes.

I don't trust any of this...

She finally left, but the ruckus was not at an end, because then the Dad-Hooman starting moving everything again... but thankfully back to where it was supposed to be!

It was not until a while later that my bed was returned to its appropriate spot. About time!

The Dad-Hooman tried to explain that things were better now, and spewed a bunch of technical sounding words... but what did make sense was that the changes evidently will save the Hoomans over $100 on their cost of living, so "we better will be able to afford cat food!"

Please put my house back where it belongs!

That last part made total sense to me! And tells me that their intentions are in the right place!

But there was more to come, because when I went upstairs to get myself a snack, I could tell that the Mom-Hooman was gathering her bags and things to go on a trip!

What the holy whiskers? Why wasn't I told about this? You see what I have to put up with?

Back in my bed... but not ready to relax...

So the Mom-Hooman left in the late afternoon because she's going to be in Seattle for the week while the Daughter-Hooman and her husband are going to a place the called "Hawaii" for a week.

So it'll be just the Dad-Hooman and myself, Daisy the dog and Smudge, for a while.

But at least it should be fairly quiet!

And now, I must get back to my nap, because I am truly exhausted after this day! But I will be back again for the official Caturday post!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
