I am very happy to create a diy Tutorial here on the repair of a car seat, this is very necessary because the cost of getting a new seat is high if only you will see it fast. So I prefer to repair it because it save money and also save the life spans of the seat.
I enjoy sharing a diy post here so that someone can learn with me. To have a skill is very important in today life even though you are a graduate.

Let get started
Before think of changing the seat cover of any seat, it means the old seat cover spoiled, or damage, or expired, or changing the seat color or changing from clothes to leather.
When planning to work on the seat cover you need to get a new seat cover which match with the interior of the car.

Material/tools needed

• sewing machine
• pliar
• clips
• set of sucket spanners
• flat and star screwdriver
• measuring tape and long rule
• chalk etc

Here is the finished work seat I am to share you guys how to make it

Seat before inside car

With the help of my sucket spanner I loose the seat to my shop for clean and easy vision to work in the seat.

After loosing the seat to my shop I then when to market to purchase a new leather the match with the old one
Here is the leather I am using

I then loose the main seat from the back for easy measurement and reupholst. You can see photo below

After loosing the seat I then use a measurement tape to take both vertical and horizontal length of each pattern on the seat. You can see photo below

I then transfer the measurement to the new leather I bought, and if you look the leather well I am combining two leather, one at the center and other other at the side. checking below you can see the photo of it.

After drawing out the measurement in the new leather I then use scissors to cut them out.

After cutting them out I then place the cut material on top of the old seat cover and the draw the shape out, then I use scissors to cut it out which give me a new pattern. See photo below

I then place the new pattern on a roof material to make it think and stronger

Finally I cut it out for sewing process

With the help of my sewing machine I joined those pattern together carefully has it was on the old seat

Cover process
After sewing the new seat cover, I then clip it to the frame of the main seat

Done clipping it. I then pull the leather and cover other part of the seat.

I then bring to both I finished cover and take a shot hope the are fine.

I finally tight them back and this is what I have has my final results.

What do you have to say about this amazing skill of mind is it not great. To make this new again for only one seat will cost 20HBD but to get a new one will cost you 70HBD and you can see the need to repair things and looking at it. It is new.
