Diy on how I made this jumpsuit with cow neck for my birthday

Good day to you all how was your night rest I hope we all have a lovely night rest happy weekend to you all, I want to use this medium to appreciate all my dear friend and community's for there lovely comment and constant support always i really appreciate and I promise to always be creative in this community.i woke up this morning with joy in my 💓 because today is a special day for me , today is my birthday been 20th of may I made a lovely dress for my self to do Thanksgiving in the church I will share that one with you all next week. I went to the market to get material for my birthday and my customer gave me 2trouser yard of material for free so I thought of the styles I will sew with it so I design this jumpsuit so that I will wear it out today then wear the other one on Sunday for Thanksgiving in the church on Sunday.

Cutting and sewing stage

I use 2trouser yards of crepe material .

Firstly cut the trouser part by taking my full length which is 56 and my half length to my waistline is 16"so I folded the fabric into four then I measured 9" from waist to hip line then from hip line to gross line is 11"and kneel line is 22" then hip circumference is 41" ÷4=10.5 then I curve it to the gross line and extent it with 2" to get the tie measurement is 28"unfold after that I place the front of the trouser to get the back

After cutting the down part , to get the upper part I have to cut on paper first thus this is my first time of cutting this cow neck design,to get the cow neck I measured the half to be 16" then the burst measurement is 11" and the waist is 10" + sewing allowance so from the chest line I measured 8"then slit it to the arm hole in order to get the falling part of the front so I place the paper on the fabric then expand it to my desire measurement then trace the basic body out on the fabric and cut it out, after that I place the paper on the fabric to get the back.

Sewing stage

I first weave the material then join all the part together and iron it .

The dress was neatly finished and it came out lovely and beautiful.
