I've recently started playing the game Assassin's Creed: Mirage. At the beginning of the game, I'm playing as a street thief and I guess I have to enhance my skills and prove my worth to be an assassin. This was a mission to accomplish this goal.

In my previous post, I shared how I completed my first mission in the game by stealing a ledger from the docks. It turned out that the Creed was in pursuit of an invaluable chest. When I tried to get the deal, their leader rejected me, saying two of her best men died to get this chest. Now I know, if I can achieve this goal, my recruitment will be sure.

After coming out of Darvis's room, I was talking with Nehal about the mission and just then a street kid tried to pickpocket me but I caught him. He was useful and I got some important information from him.
He told me that he saw the soldiers take that black chest into the Calipha's palace and I made my decision to steal it. Nehal tried to talk me out of it but I was strong on my decision.

By the time we reached the Winter Palace, it was afternoon already but we had to wait for midnight. Which is obviously a perfect time for the work we are about to do.

The moonlight was nice and Nehal was looking cute. So, I took a portrait shot of her. And some more shots of both of us.

Even if it was midnight, the whole place was full of guards and we had to be super cautious while moving inside. We were moving so slowly that I was bored for a moment.

After a lot of hiding and sneaking around, we finally found the door to the part of the palace where the chest was kept.

Unfortunately, the door was locked and I had to use my eagle vision to find the soldier with the key. But, he was in the open garden where all the other soldiers would see him. I waited for him to reach his chamber and then killed him to get the key. It was tough and my health was at its lowest. And I also barely escaped from the soldiers patrolling the palace. They found the dead body as I had no time to hide it and I had to stay hidden in the bushes for a long time and wait for them to go away.

After opening the gate, were saw that the whole place was full of ranked offers of the army and they all were on heavy duty.

We found a little window from where we saw the chest was in the middle of the room and the Calipha was talking with his son. Just then a soldier arrived and informed the Calipha that, "They're Here." I didn't know by then who the soldier referred to but the Calipha told everyone to go out even his own son.

Then, in a cinematic scene, we saw some masked men enter the room. Even the Calipha seemed to be afraid of those guys. They were there to check the safety of the chest and told the Calipha to keep it safe until they finished their work in the city.

I was surprised to see that even the Calipha didn't know about what was inside the chest and when he asked the permission of those masked guys to see what was inside, they threatened him and he was sweating all over out of fear.

After they all left, we entered the room and broke the chest with a metal candle holder.

But, just as I touched the object inside the chest, it started glowing and there was some sort of visual graphics playing in front of me though I had no idea what was it about.

But, just then the Calipha himself entered the room and the disk fell out of my hands. He started to beat me and damn, he was strong as hell.

He was chocking me and I was out of breath. Just as I was about to be unconscious/die. Nehal did something unthinkable. She took a knife and killed the Calipha by putting it through his neck.

I had no time or option to think of a solution to this rather than run away. It is normal that the guards won't show any type of mercy to me or give me any chance to explain myself. Cause, just as Nehal killed him, the son of the Calipha entered the room and he saw it all. And by the time he saw it, Nehal already fled from the room and all he saw was me and his father's dead body.

There was no scope for photos or raw adventures now. I kept running and we will find out what happened in my next post.
