"Time to Man up!" (an original poem)

Burdens would lessen, if only…
Broken hearts would fade out, if only…
Happiness would flourish, if only…
Satisfaction would sweep if only…

If only you could learn to give in,
If only you could learn to be thankful
If only you wouldn’t give in into your ego,
If only your pride would give way to importance.

The blood race is the one feeling the pain,
Unspoken words to apathy,
Unuttered emotions to frustration,
Are you tired, feel restrained, and feel like the victim?

Man up! Tear it out, your not alone anymore,
You have a family to support on,
A family that should be prioritized on,
Wake up! The world doesn’t revolve around you alone anymore,
But now a wife, a child, a family of your own.

Now, this is the time to cherish every time,
Spend time without guilt or hesitation,
This is not the time for agitations and resistance,
The birth of Manhood and wake to Adulthood.
