A simple jackfruit dessert is a special treat when I'm craving a sweet treat with a creamy texture at home. It's unique and very enjoyable when it's cold.

Today I will invite you to prepare one of the dishes inspired by the neighboring country of Thailand. This dessert is made from ingredients that are very easy to find in other Asian countries such as Indonesia of course. Now because of the easy ingredients I will try to make it at home, I am very curious about the taste.

Tako Nangka

Tako jackfruit is the name known in my country for this preparation, it tastes sweet and has a very soft texture. Initially when I saw this recipe at first glance it was almost similar to bubur sumsum in my country. But after the process of making it, there is a slight difference in that tako nangka uses pieces of jackfruit and the aroma of jackfruit is certainly characteristic.

The most interesting part is when the final part of the molding is adding it in a pandan leaf mold that is made by myself. So that makes it more elegant and certainly favored by many people. Now you need to know the original recipe of tako jackfruit which actually I don't know whether to use a pandan leaf container or not, it all depends back to your taste.

Ingredients Needed

100 grams of jackfruit
100 grams of rice flour
100 grams of sugar
1 liter of coconut milk
25 grams glutinous rice flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 pandan leaf

Cooking Procedure

Step 1

Now because here I use a container of pandan leaves first I prepare the container. Prepare 1 long pandan leaf, then fold it into five parts measuring approximately 5cm after folding cut the bottom half only,

Step 2

Next, hook it with a square stick, after the shape if the center is still hollow add the pandan leaf cover back on top. Here I prepared 6 containers as tako jackfruit molds later, well if you don't have pandan leaves you can add them in a regular glass or other container.

Step 3

Next I cut the jackfruit into small pieces, this is so that the jackfruit is more evenly distributed in the cake batter later and add sugar

Tara!!! Tako jackfruit is ready to be served, I am very happy with the result especially the final result of giving the toping back ahhh the aroma of jackfruit is enough to make it better in addition to the aroma of pandan which is very fragrant. I love this final result, it really makes me who was originally ordinary when cooking when combined in a container more interesting.

The flavor is legit sweet, and most importantly the texture is really soft. For those of you who like sweet food, this is the right choice for you to try at home.
